I recently went to the Maddock Way branch for an NHS health check. Setting up the appointment was very easy. Having emailed the surgery, I got a call back the following day (a Saturday) offering me an appointment with the nurse, followed promptly by a confirmation text. I also got a reminder text the day before the appointment, which was very helpful. I found the Maddock Way surgery itself bright, modern, cool, and very clean. I was able to easily check in on the screen and was called for my appointment right on time. The nurse was unhurried, polite, and friendly. She made me feel comfortable and clearly explained the tests she would run and the follow up actions. She also advised on how I could book a GP appointment for a full range of blood tests as it's been some years since I last did that. I was previously a patient at Manor Place Surgery and couldn't be happier to have joined this friendly and welcoming practice based on this initial experience.

We recently moved to Walworth and signed up with Penrose Surgery. Everything has worked out superbly. The staff at the front desk are friendly and helpful and have a good sense of humour to boot. Appointments are easy to organise and convenient. My appointments have started promptly and my time with the doctor never feels rushed. I also appreciate the proactive way they reach out to discuss test results. I am absolutely thrilled with the surgery. For the benefit of the staff on the desk, my only complaint is that the clock behind them is off (tongue firmly in cheek).
