    Came in for a check up. Dr was great; met him first time; listened and gave good clear next steps . Senior Dr also at hand to give advice. Great admin support and staff. All in all brilliant.

    The GP I saw was extremely caring and referred me in for further tests and an endoscopy. My GP has always been caring and I have no complaints.

    The GP is an outstanding doctor who listens very carefully to his patients. He provides excellent feedback and diagnosis and I leave his sessions with great satisfaction. A doctor I definitely recommend and one of the best GP practice in my area 💐

    My mother is over 90 and poorly, waited for doctor whole day yesterday, never showed up, they sent a nurse instead which was usless to us, today I was told the doctor will phone around 5 pm, never called, they really couldn't care less, I made a mistake registering her with Penshurst Gardens Surgery, I willl need to move her to another.

    Dear Ramzy, We are sorry that we did not meet our highest standards of care when a home visit was requested for your mother. This was due to a misunderstanding of our Home Visits policy by a Locum (Temporary) GP covering for one of our regular GPs who was away on annual leave. We have now provided feedback to the Locum GP involved to ensure that this does not happen again in the future. At a minimum, the Locum GP should have provided an explanation for why it was more appropriate for the Rapid Response Team of nurses to do the home visit eg. arranging further blood/urine tests and monitoring at home for further deterioration to avoid inappropriate hospital admissions. That said, it is at the GP’s discretion to decide whether to do the home visit them self (eg. to provide additional support to families of patients at the end of life) or refer to the Rapid Response nurses who do an outstanding job in picking up conditions such as chest infections and urine infections and report promptly back to the referring GP to issue a prescription for early antibiotics. The Rapid Response Team can also provide patient support after accidental falls and are considered to be an integral part of our Extended Primary Care Team. It would be very sad to see your mother leave the practice only after this single mis-step/misunderstanding by a Locum GP, who was unaware of our practice policy to give patients the choice about their preference for the home visit or at least explain the huge benefits of a Rapid Response Team visit for further monitoring and support in the days after their visit to prevent inappropriate admissions. We wish you all the best in your endeavours to register elsewhere but would be very happy to have your mother back in the future. With kindest regards, The Penshurst Management Team.

    The most pleasant informal relaxing atmosphere. Excellent interpersonal skills . Very comprehensive assessment of my problem . Excellent proposed management and arrangement plan . Most excellent medical appointment with Dr Jones .

    I would like to express how grateful I am for my Doctor at this Gp practice, for I have had a lot of different health care concerns recently which have caused me stress and anxiety. After consulting with my Doctor I feel heard and understood, as I am given the time to speak about what’s been happening and always then given the help to ensure my health needs are being looked after. I never feel rushed or as if I’m not being taken seriously. It’s really reassuring and I feel I can talk to him about anything. I feel less anxiety about my health because I know it is in good hands. Thank you and to the Practice.

    Saw my doctor on22.12.23 . She was warm, welcoming and excellent at diagnosing and advising accordingly. Also brought a couple of issues I hadn’t mentioned so her assessment was comprehensive. A very able practitioner. So I have to continue
