  2. Review titled Frustrating & helpless

by Anonymous - Posted on 24 June 2024

I waited for a diabetic review for months and when a diabetic practice nurse finally called me for 10mins she stopped one of my medication due to side effects and increased my other medication and was going to follow up in a weeks time via phone call on the day she called I had my phone with me I picked up I couldn't hear her and she couldn't hear me either, she cut the call and the right thing to do is to call me back but she never did, waited for hours and it never happened. I called the I surgery and they were not helpful either all the could tell me is that she tried calling you and couldn't book me in because there's no appointment. This happened on the 20th of May & I've only seen a doctor today being the 24th of June, meanwhile my medication had been stopped & not replaced causing harm to myself by worsening condition because I know I needed to speak with someone but unable to get appointment.

  3. Review titled Bad practice

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Neli - Posted on 05 March 2024

After leaving a review here and been advised to contact the gp through the e-consulting tool, I did that straight away. I contacted the gp for two different issues, I only been contacted about one of the issues, the other bigger one no one bothered. The doctor contacted me was very rude and made me question myself do I really struggle instead of doing her job. I had second interaction with this doctor and both times she was rude. At the end I had to go see someone privately as I can’t waste my time with trying getting appointments and the rude staff.

  4. Review titled Another place that does not want to help

by Rob - Posted on 21 March 2024

I have knee problems for weeks. My last GP was useless and only gave a partial answer to the X-ray results. I thought this place would care, but only found more disappointment. 111 thought I needed GP support, but without even talking to me some unnamed GP here asked a receptionist straight away to tell me to go somewhere else. I can't work properly. I can't enjoy my days off. Despite this they refuse to see me let alone support me.

  5. Review titled Disappointing

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Neli Ruseva - Posted on 19 February 2024

The last half a year it happened to visit the practice on few occasions. Every time is so difficult to book an appointment as appointments are rarely available. Now I am trying to book from 5 days, every time I call been told nothing available and to check over the app. App shows that there’s no appointments too. I am checking the app every 10-20 mins and even one slot didn’t come up. Pathetic.

  7. Review titled Disappointing practice

Rated 2 stars out of 5

I usually go to Avonmouth or ridingleaze surgery but unable to book on line and haven't been able to for at least 2 months really getting fed up with it I'm not always well enough to stay on the phone for ages to get through at 8 in the morning especially because by the time i do the appointments have gone, I'm told the reason i can't book on line is because my usual doctor hasn't any appointments or is not there and she isn't there alot so i should be able to book with someone else on line, I'm very close to changing to another surgery

  8. Review titled Rude receptionist

Rated 4 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 19 June 2023

I am coming off Diazepam and I am getting very bad and nasty withdrawal symptoms to the extent of not being able to go out. I called the surgery earlier and asked for a phone consultation with my GP and the receptionist said "There is nothing available, OK?"and promptly terminated the call. I wasn't asked what it was about or if it was urgent. I called back and was lucky to get someone else who was very helpful and understanding. Now, the receptionists are our first port of call when we are unwell and this is not acceptable. I didn't call just to pass the time but because I am at the end of my tether and need help to manage the withdrawal symptoms. We are asked to polite and respectful when calling the surgery. Maybe the receptionists should be reminded that this works both ways and we are entitled to the same courtesy. However, as I said, the second receptionist I talked to was absolutely brilliant and I have an appointment for tomorrow.

  9. Review titled Excellent practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Frederick Harrop - Posted on 18 June 2023

My wife has painful leg ulcers which require twice-weekly visits to have the condition checked and the wounds re-dressed. We have enjoyed first class treatment from a very personable nurse who is kind and has built a helpful relationship with an eighty year old who is not always the easiest of patients. I thank the team and absolutely recommend this practice.

  10. Review titled Appointment s

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 20 May 2023

They say book your appointments on line you sign in they is never any appointment s available all you get is sorry nothing available,so you try ringing at 8oclock in the morning after a very long wait you could be 20 in the que , when you get through the reception is so blunt not helpful all you get is no appointment s you will have to try again tomorrow, this is very frustrating when your not well and can’t get appointments . I can’t understand why we can’t get appointments I really think something needs to change so we can book online and if we need to phone appointments should be made available and the receptionist should all be trained in customer service and stop being so rude , sorry I have just had enough I can never get a face to face appointment
