I joined this practice after 47 years with my previous health centre. It was not an easy decision but I became disillusioned with the service provided by that practice. So after much deliberation with my wife weighing up pros & cons decided at 67 after speaking to the reception staff at Studley pool medical Centre all our concerns as pensioners from appointments to treatments were answered fully, special mention to reception staff for taking the time to speak to both of us although they were extremely busy at that time If it were possible to give this practice 6 out of 5 stars I would . The NHS is under severe pressure we all know that but as pensioners both myself & wife have been seen by Doctors at this practice.. We cannot express our thanks & gratitude enough to the Doctors & staff ( including Doctor secretaries) We both hope we will have a long association with this practice & thank you very much from the both of us

Handed in a medical report form to be filled in . Told would take up to 28 days . Well over 28 days told report is on doctors desk waiting to be so signed 2 weeks ago. Finally after chasing sent sars report which I don’t really need . Paid through bacs and still waiting. Absolutely ridiculous.

Review titled Very Abrupt Reception staff, Poor service!

I have being a patient at this practice for many years. I am not a person that use the service regularly but to called as advised by a Receptionist, waited for a long time, being told I was number 24 on the call queue. The person that took the call was so abrupt, it was unbelievable and would not even bother to listen to what I was trying to say, and told me the only appointment left was an emergency. This is unacceptable bearing in mind that I called the day before and couldn’t get an appointment and was asked to call back, waited, until a receptionist could not even bother to take the call!
