    I’d just like to say thank you for the help given by at least three receptionists and doctor when I requested an emergency prescription due to a mix up by my on line pharmacy. The service difference between the surgery with genuinely good help and their human contact bears no comparison to the. Robotic service provided by the on line pharmacy.

    I have recently joined the Portchester Practice after moving to the area. I was anxious to change GPs as my previous practice was outstanding. I am so impressed with the Portchester Practice. Registering was a breeze. They actioned an onward referral within days and this morning I put in an E-consult, was contacted within an hour, seen face to face by a GP a couple of hours later and now have the intervention I need. Thank you.

    Beginning of November I had to have major surgery, on my return home I had to contact the practice several times and cannot fault their support. I put in e-consult queries and each time had a call back from a GP within a short space of time. Whilst it was not only medical support that I was given, it was also reassurance. All those I came in contact with from the practice (not just GPs) have been polite, pleasant and professional. Portchester Practice holds "old fashioned" values, where the patient is not simply a name, but a person. That means a lot. I cannot recommend them highly enough,

    this used to be a good practice before the pandemic, since then I have had cause to phone up four times and each time I was effectively told to "get lost" at no time was the problem mentioned at all. As far as I can see there is no nhs support in the Fareham area.
