Review titled Never any Appointments
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 03 June 2024
I thought things would change with the new bigger building and more staff - however its worse. After repeatedly calling from 8.01 this morning and just getting the 'this line is busy please try again' I finally get into the queue at 8.30 to be told (by voicemail) that there are no available appointments. This is a common theme. You cannot get through or cannot get an appointment for love nor money. I reiterate the previous review, the doctors are great. But its getting to see them!!!

Review titled Poor service and rude reception staff
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 29 August 2023
The doctors are great and I have never had an issue however very often the reception staff and be rude and feel like they just want to get you off the phones to go onto the next call. To enough staff to take calls with waits often up to 40 mins morning noon and night. Getting an appointment is hard and even if you call at 0800 quite often by the time you get through there aren’t any appointments left. Just shocking

Review titled Trying to get a GP Appointment
by Mibani - Posted on 31 October 2022
Started calling my GP Practice at 8.00am then around every minute; and it was constantly busy. At 08.36 I hear a recorded message telling me I am caller number 14 in the queue. Why are they only making bookings (telephone and face to face) for that day? This is putting too much pressure on patients trying to make an appointment; and, in desperation, many are presenting at A&E, which is not what should be happening! It is now 08.47 and I am number 9 in the queue. Finally at 08.58 I get to speak to the Receptionist, and explain my temperature fluctuations, possibly related to a condition which is being looked into. They inform me that there are no appointments of any kind left for today; and suggests I call 111. Why should I have to call somewhere else, when I am registered with a practice which is supposed to be looking after me? I ask how long the 'that day only' booking system will last? and they don't know, only that it is Practice policy/procedure - why? they do not not know! The Practice tells you that they have a number of Doctors and Clinical Practitioners, so why is it so difficult to speak to one of them?
