    Just wanted to say thank you to the staff at the health centre for running such a good service! My 7 month old has been poorly since Thursday and I took him to the ooh GP at the countess who was very dismissive and didn’t do a through assessment. Today I called the practice at 8 (lady answering the phone was lovely) and got an appointment with a doctor at 9:15- a full assessment and listened to my concerns. Made me appreciate how lucky we are with our GP service; and it is recognised within the local ‘mummy’ community, but maybe not always communicated.

    Call to book a routine appointment, hit 45 people queue at 8.03 am, still no call back by 11.25 am. This is a regular thing and it's out of hand. If you cannot meet demand, don't take on the patients. This has been happening for years and gradually getting worse.

    Takes forever to get an appointment. Staff don't know what it going on. Had to wait in reception for 45 minutes to have a piece of paper brought down from the Dr. Reception staff are absolutely disgraceful. Extremely rude and speak to you like dirt. They either need retraining in service etiquette or the practice needs a new reception team.

    My elderly mother is registered at this practice. She consistently gets fobbed off by staff answering the telephone, they make clinical judgements on her health which is not acceptable. The latest incident today , she has a bad chest , no appointments left, can have appointment tomorrow or ring 111 . This is after explaining she was too unwell to attend the surgery. Surely a clinician should be making the decision for her to wait until the next day.

    My wife had had vascular dementia for 8 years. Since 2020 she was effectively housebound. As she became more unwell, the care from the GPs was outstanding. As she came to her last day, she was visited by a GP and a nurse who were gentle, caring and very supportive. I could not have asked for better care. I have found the phone system so much better with ring-back, and always found the receptionists helpful and responsive.
