The nurse put the injection in the arm and then pulled it out again which drew blood but also left a bruise, it took 2 weeks for it to heal. Very shoddy job for a professional.

Thank you for your review and sorry to hear that you had some bruising after bloods were taken. On the NHS website around giving Bloods (https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/blood-tests/), it does state that patients can experience bruising for normally a few days. I understand you had bruising for longer than this which is less usual but not unheard of. The clinical team at Priory View are very experienced and the majority of feedback received is excellent which reflects their level of experience. If you felt in anyway the clinician was being negligent, then you should contact the practice to inform the Practice Manager so this can be investigated properly. I hope if you return for any further healthcare treatment that you receiving our usual excellent level of care and service.

Referred for an X-ray at the LGI walk in, but there the receptionist said the referral had not come through. She suggested I call my doctors surgery. I called Priory View Medical Centre and spoke to a receptionist…. the receptionist immediately contacted the doctor and having confirmed my contact number, promptly called me back within minutes to apologise again and said it had now been sent. I went back to the X-ray receptionist and it had indeed. The receptionists at Priory View Medical centre are always polite, friendly and professional. Thank you

All of the staff I have ever encountered at priory view have all been phenomenal. They really take the time to listen and today I was given a very detailed explanation of what was wrong with me which massively helped my understanding and gave me reassurance. I was also given guidance on what to do and how to be treated which I have also found very useful and couldn’t thank the member of staff enough.

My husband tried to speak to a doctor re recurring water infections and may be more medication but the receptionist didn't even ask his name what is problem was or anything all she concentrated was telling no appts until the following Wednesday he has diabetes and been very ill with the problem over the weeks and is urinating blood does the practice not use some sort of triage to assess the needs of the patients.

Good afternoon, We are sorry that you feel you have not had a good service from Priory View. We can certainly look into the issues if you would like to discuss or write to the Practice Manager and then we can respond directly to you. In the meantime, to respond to the point you have made, our Receptionists do not generally ask questions as to why patients need to see a GP or Nurse but would be happy to listen if you offered that information and help to direct you to the most appropriate service if we no longer had any appointments available. Was told I couldn't speak to a doctor for 7 days and the receptionist did not even ask what was wrong with me. Obviously don't care.

Thank you Linda for your review and we are sorry that you feel we have not provided you with the level of service you expect. At the moment, we are sorry to say that 7 days to speak or see a GP is actually very good. I know of some practices where patients are waiting over three weeks. The reception team at Priory View generally would not ask about what you needed to see a GP about but if you offered the information they would take this into consideration. They would also provide you with alternative routes for any urgent care that you would need. In future, if you feel you need to provide further information to the receptionist, please do so and they can provide you with the correct level of advice and care. Rang for an appointment on Friday afternoon, spoke to a go on Saturday morning , was in for some tests same morning. Excellent service, reception staff really friendly and helpful.
