Same lack of response on the phone as ever. Takes atleast an hour to get to number 1 in the queue. Usually the get cut off. If you manage to get through to a human I am usually too late to get an appointment and told try again tomorrow. I received several text messages asking me to ask for an appointment. Tried and tried, still trying as I type this. If you win the jackpot and managed to get an appointment and see a nurse you do get excellent service, they are great with you explaining everything. Can't say the same about the doctors. If one actually exists, only managed phone consultations.

My partner and myself had an appointment with the nurse today.. She was very informative regarding our treatment. She couldn't do enough for us. She was patient, friendly and very professional. A very positive experience indeed. Thank you.

Today I have been on 3 calls to pendle valley Surgery of over 2 hrs trying to find out where my daughters prescriptions were. Originally I put in for prescriptions on the 8th Aug 2023 and only received 2 items...3 out standing, chemist had not received the rest of prescription. On the 11th I again request forgotten apart of the prescription to be sent to chemist. 15th still not arrived I call chemist to if they had received my daughters prescription through...answer No So I call Pendle Yalley docs again and got told they were waiting on someone to sigh off the prescriptions. Today is the 17 I am still waiting on prescriptions and cannot even get through on the phone line.... I have been on call since around 3pm it currently 6.34pm, I am absolutely disgusted with the service. Several times over the last year I have had to repeatedly go down to the surgery to find out what is going on with my daughters prescriptions. I would like to add that my daughter is registered disabled and needs certain medications to help her pass her bowel movements.

I popped into the surgery today for a few things, including sorting out some treatment and changing my address. The receptionist was delightful - friendly, helpful and efficient. 5 stars to that person! Previous experience with a GP was not good, and because I have had no recent contact with any of the GP’s at the practice, I cannot comment on their attitude / behaviours. Hence the 3 star overall rating.
