I need my bloods testing ,I had an appointment approx 5/6 weeks ago,I sat in the surgery waiting 20+minutes due to back problems I can not get comfortable and I have difficulty walking,If the can't keep to appointment times, why give them it wasn't as if I was taking up a doctor's time,I have had my bloods taken at home so I asked for this just to be told so you don't want an appointment she'll tell the doctor,to many receptionist think they are medically trained.

  2. Review titled Fantastic service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I was seen recently at the practice, and referred for a non-urgent ultrasound scan. This was performed within 2 weeks, and the GP e-mailed me with the result later on the day of the scan. I was then seen by promptly by a surgeon and offered a date for an operation a few weeks later. All in all, an amazing service from Quakers Lane Surgery and the NHS. (The pharmacy staff also deserves a mention for their ability to sort problems and queries quickly and efficiently. What a great team!).

  3. Review titled Friendly, kind and knowledgeable

Rated 5 stars out of 5

The doctors and their staff offer one of the best GP surgeries I have seen. Only last week the appointment; maybe a little delayed, was unhurried and personal. From the doctor receiving my wife, in the waiting room to farewell wishes for a speedy recovery - excellent. ajb. 23/06/2023

  4. Review titled Good Practice

I recently contacted the surgery for help with an urgent matter. The Practice Manager and reception staff treated my query seriously, with respect and helped immensely, which led to a very positive outcome. I can’t thank them enough for all their help.

  5. Review titled Lacking Care, Consideration, Empathy or Service

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 16 June 2023

I have been a patient at the surgery for a number of years, as it is unfortunately, one of the few within reasonable driving distance of my home. The service I have received over this time has been consistently below expectation and disappointing at best. This review is sadly not based on the performance of the medical staff, nurses or doctors at this practise, but with the reception and administration staff, who are rude, abrasive and confrontational. They are not helpful, considerate or even polite and it makes dealing with this surgery extremely unpleasant. They ask for the patients to treat them with respect, and you would expect this to go both ways, but sadly it doesn't. I am often left feeling frustrated when forced to communicate with the reception staff and they very rarely offer any assistance to problems or queries. A patient, contacting the surgery for a medical complaint is reaching out for help. The attitude that the reception staff have, leaves a patient feeling helpless and humiliated in general. They do not represent the surgery well and I will be looking to move to somewhere that can offer a friendlier and more helpful approach. I would not recommend this surgery to others.

  6. Review titled Amazing Staff

Rated 5 stars out of 5

We were in Richmond for Christmas, from Brighton. My daughter developed a suspected ear infection and they happily registered us, consulted, and saw us the same day, three days before Xmas. Got antibiotics for a confirmed ear infection. Thank you, all at Quakers Lane Surgery.
