I had an appointment scheduled. The practice recognised that their member of staff was going to be off and rescheduled my appointment sooner. It was for a cortisone injection and I was well informed about the process and aftercare. I was made to feel relaxed and comfortable.

I needed a review of my cancer pain medication - not only did I get seen quickly but the Doctor had made himself familiar with my issues beforehand and we quickly agreed on changes to my medication. First class service

I have been a patient here a short while over a year since moving areas. This practice is outstanding, the caring nature of the doctors, nursing and reception staff speaks volumes to me. I have seen various doctors for both myself and my two sons and each time I have been met with kindness, support, professionalism and felt overall listened to and comfortable. I can see that the drs and nurses are so busy at this practice with huge demand on their time/ service but this does not affect their consultations with you and they go above and beyond at all times. You are always greeted with a smile. I just want to say thank you to you all all the drs I have seen for myself and my son you have treated us all with dignity, respect and kindness and that is why I am writing this review. It is reassuring to know I have a good and reliable GP practice that I can turn to for medical/ nursing care. Furthermore your reception staff are the window to the surgery and they have all been amazing on every occasion I have rang or visited the surgery: they work hard on every occasion and let’s face it do face the brunt of things when days are busy and frustrations set in! So a big thank you to all of them Carry on being amazing all of you!

Had an issue that’s been on my mind for a while , this looked at and and sorted. Also mentioned another issue while attending, and again resolved in no time at all .

I've tried unsuccessfully for 3 weeks now ringing every day at 9 am for an appointment to be told there are none left even though a doctor has asked me to make this appointment, I am always late getting my prescription because they overlook them and if I try to complain in a formal manner I'm told they will not accept it. It's a practice that has gone downhill massively in the last 5 yrs and has the worst reputation of all practices.

Dear Sir/Madam, Hi I'm Vanessa the Practice Manager, I would like to investigate your concerns. I'm sorry to hear you have been unsuccessful after 3 weeks of trying to get an appointment. All our urgent on the day appointments get released at 8am on the phone and online. I do hope you were provided with the signposting information we tell all patients when we are unable to provide an appointment, these are services that provide evening & weekend appointments. Have you been seen now? Do you have online access? To investigate your prescription issues I would need more information, human errors can occur, I apologize if the high standard we expect hasn't been met. I'm surprised to hear that we don't accept formal complaints, that's simply not true. You can verbally give a complaint, use the complaints form on reception, request a call back from me, submit one through our website or email r.qayside@nhs.net. All avenues come to me to investigate. We use complaints to learn and improve our services for our patients. Having had two lots of treatment for separate medical issues this year, one of which required a referral, on both occasions all aspects of the service from start to finish have been first class. From helpful and friendly receptionists to highly professional doctors. Thank you so much.

The doctor was very understanding and took his time to listen to me. He looked into my condition as it’s not a common condition. He arranged for me to have an emergency consultation with a specialist. He also arranged for me to get some help with the mental health issues that my condition is causing. He was very caring and always knew who I was when I saw him. I wasn’t treated like just another patient as part of his day. I can’t thank him enough.

Terrible practice the passed couple of years struggle to get an agent on the phone and today when I finally got through I asked if there was a chance of getting to speak to a doctor as I’m having bowel issues and the agent isn’t a medically trained practitioner so I didn’t want to share this information with them. But as soon as I mentioned having a doctor call me the agent just said no sorry that would be a routine appointment you’ll have to call back on monday. So I have to call back now on Monday at 9 while working knowing I’m going to struggle to get through on the phone and probably told they’re all booked anyways. Staff need to have retraining on human interactions couldn’t ask for more awkward phones call too

Every four weeks for the last two years I have attended this practice. Each appointment I have been treated in a professional, kind and friendly manner which has made my journey as pleasant as can be.

Rang up with in an hour of closing for my little boy, got an appointment straight away, was seen within 5 minutes. Doctor was lovely and checked my little boy well.
