  1. Review titled Excellent Practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Zoe McGann - Posted on 08 January 2025

I have recently registered at a different GP practice and the difference is palpable. Queens Crescent Practice are efficient and extremely helpful. I had to order a couple of prescriptions soon after becoming a newly registered patient. The Clinical Pharmacist responded immediately and the service has been excellent. Everything went smoothly and I got what I requested, this wasn't the case with my previous GP.

  2. Review titled Fantastic Doctor

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Bekki - Posted on 11 October 2024

I saw the female doctor downstairs…. This Doctor is the most compassionate, understanding and caring individual I’ve met. I have seen her several times now and nothing is rushed - she takes time to ask about you, your concerns and then offers solutions that are best suited for your needs. Her understanding of her patients is amazing and how she includes you in the final decision is reassuring. I also like how she doesn’t use medical jargon and is more than happy to Google anything to show you to make things so much easier to understand. A doctor whom is always happy to see her patients with a genuine passion for her job and for the best care and outcome for her patients, we need more her.

  3. Review titled great dr

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I wanted to express my deepest gratitude for the exceptional care and support you've provided me over the past two weeks. Your prompt communication, willingness to go out of your way to book my appointment, and ensuring everything was in order before referring me to the clinic truly mean the world to me. He has helped me so much in less than 2 weeks than other doctors that took over 2 years. Your dedication and effectiveness in managing my situation did not go unnoticed, and I can't thank you enough for the peace of mind you've given me during this time. Thank you again dr s y axley s.k

  4. Review titled Great doctors but poor management and huge accessibility issues

by Anonymous - Posted on 07 November 2024

When I joined this practice in early 2024, there was great access to the practice. However, as the year has progressed and doctors have left, the service and access to the practice has worsened. Though the doctors who I do eventually get to speak to are helpful, it is almost impossible to get an face to face appointment. As someone with a disability, I felt assured that in the first part of the year, I would be able to be seen and I was. But now, they will only help you on any issue if you are able to fill out an e-consult at 8.30am which isn't possible for me due to my disability. They will not help in any other way despite me explaining my troubles accessing the practice. As someone with a long term health condition I was up until August able to get support outside of e-consult hours. This made such a different to my daily life as I felt supported. However, there’s become a sudden change in policy I wasn’t informed about and you can no longer get support outside of e-consult hours. With a lifelong disability, the e-consult process and the way it is pushed by staff is very dehumanising and doesn’t factor in lifelong diseases and conditions. It feels like a form of digital exclusion - if you have an acute problem calling at 8am is workable but with lifelong problems, you need to feel properly supported by the practice. I’m not expecting priority service but knowing there was an alternative route when I needed it meant a lot. Unfortunately it takes weeks to hear back from my hospital team so my GP is first point of call. But without being able to make appointments to see the same doctor and a lack of consistency in the service, daily life and health can be affected. I would urge the practice to consider how they can make the practice available to those with long term health conditions and disabilities because doing so can make a huge difference to better health outcomes. To be stuck in a never ending lottery of e-consult forms, if you’re lucky and able enough to find one in the early morning, this process does no good for mental well-being or physical health when you have a long-term condition or disability.

  5. Review titled Great Practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 06 June 2024

From beginning to end I found the whole experience helpful, caring and extremely supportive. I found the self check-in speeded up the process somewhat, so as soon as I signed in I could sit down until I saw the doctor. I found the receptionist extremely helpful to all the patients who came in and she had plenty of time for e as ch and every one. The Dr that I had my appointment with took the necessary time to explain to me the procedure he would take to help me clarify health concerns.

  6. Review titled Excellent service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Benson Craven - Posted on 23 April 2024

I found Queens Crescent Practice provided an excellent service at the point of need. After raising my health issue online, I received a prompt and constructive response that really put my mind at ease at a difficult time. The staff on duty in reception were dealing with lots of competing needs in a dynamic, efficient and professional way . The health care professional that dealt with me was excellent and devised a remedial plan via discussion with me , sent prescriptions to a convenient pharmacy and arranged all the paperwork for my referral to hospital for further action. The follow up contact by the same doctor has been first rate and demonstrates a dedication to full spectrum health care and patient welfare that is impressive and reassuring. First rate experience on all fronts.

  8. Review titled Caring and supportive practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Laura Scally - Posted on 12 January 2024

The practice is always supportive and welcoming to me, no matter what challenge I come in with (physical and mental). When I come in, the staff are always so welcoming and friendly. They have made time over the last year to get in touch with other agencies quickly and provide continuous support alongside arrange hospital appointments and admin when needed. I am able to decide to see a GP face to face or talk to them over the phone. I highly recommend this surgery and I am happy to be a patient at the surgery.

  10. Review titled High Standards

Rated 4 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 21 February 2023

In a time of so much negative press, it was great to actually speak to a receptionist, and within 24 hours get a call from a doctor and a face to face appointment. Put at ease and given a diagnosis and supportive measures and advice. Have been needing GP assistance a lot more in the last year and can’t fault the experience other than the time to get through on the phone
