    I notified the reception team in person my usual pharmacy are now unable to get hold of one of my repeat medication. I was told they would try other pharmacy’s and get back to me, they didn’t. Went in again and was told they would send a message to the doctor. Still nothing. I went in again and they sent it to the pharmacist. Still nothing so spoke to the doctor, still nothing. Eventually after around 8 weeks I get a call saying I need a medical review with the pharmacist but they only have appointments on a Wednesday. I can’t do a Wednesday for over 6 weeks so that means I’ve ran out off my medication. This I find absolutely disgusting especially after the length of time from when I first notified them. The practices at this surgery is ridiculous. I do understand how busy the doctor is but their not the only person who works full time. Not everyone can change their rotas at the drop of a hat either.

    I wouldn't recommend them to anyone based on my experience. I had a phone appointment with a doctor over 4 weeks ago but didn't hear anything back and have chased them 3 times now to be told I just need to book another phone appointment with a doctor - but I need to call back at 8am tomorrow to do this, of course. For just this one medical issue, it's taken me six phone calls and still no resolution. Everyone I've spoken to has been rude and unhelpful.

    My family have been using this surgery since moving to the area 10 years ago, it's getting steadily worse, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. The final straw has come after attending a series of appointments as directed by the doctor after I was diagnosed with high blood pressure. This was getting on for 3 weeks ago. The doctor has asked me to make an appointment to see him after I'd completed all the tests. I've been trying, but the surgery insists that call at 8am. I'm a working father and I'm either at work, or on the school run at 8am so this simply doesn't work for me. Last Monday I managed to get someone to take the kids to school so I could call at 8am, it took 25 minutes to get through, and then I was told I could only get a telephone consultation and that the doctor would phone me between 9am and 5pm. I stayed in all day, and the call never came. This is the latest in a series of poor interactions with this surgery. I won't be going back. Utterly useless service. Which is doing absolutely nothing to improve my blood pressure!
