Review titled Ridiculous
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Kim - Posted on 09 May 2024
My son has tonsillitis I called to make an appointment before I started work, surgery was closed, called back on lunch break, surgery closed again, called in the afternoon and told no appointments call out of hours, called out of hours, waited an hour only to get an answer machine, left a message, no call back, called the next day at 8am only to be told they have to speak to him because he is 16, told them he’s got tonsillitis he’s sitting his exams he leaves for school at 7.30 so the only way he will ever get an appointment is to take a morning off school, needless to say we are on day 3 of no medical help because out of hours don’t answer either, no option but to go to a and e if tonight’s phone call to out of hours isn’t successful, what a disgusting way to treat (or lack of treatment should I say) patients!

i would advise everyone to find a different gp. i am told time and time again to put my illnesses on hold to wait until 8am-10am, or my gp out of hours at 6pm. therefore if you are poorly between 10am-6pm you will have to go to a&e. i have bad experiences specifically, waiting to be referred to the hospital for 8 months, waiting to see a doctor from a referral back from the hospital for 4 months, and now being told i should put my illness on hold. i was under the gp for gynae issues also when i was a teenager and it gave me bad anxiety over having such issues being told im young, when i love someone the issues will improve.. i now have three real diagnosis' from gynaecology that definitely would not have improved with anything the gp suggested.

Been with them years. Never seen the doctor. Run out of medication due to constant errors. Have a policy of not seeing patients, just give endless Apps to use on mobile. Pathetic.

Review titled Try to see a Doctor - I don’t think so!
Rated 1 star out of 5

I would really like to know how or what illness you need to have to see an actual doctor? Always feel palmed off and not listened to. And on another note, repeat prescriptions are supposed to be reviewed every 3 months when ordering on line. So you have to ring up and whoever answers the phone, just puts it through. Would not call that a review!
