  1. Review titled No access

I was reassured that this practice had capacity to see children. I contacted the surgery at 9.30 on Friday for my 4 month old with a neck lump. Told by reception that duty doctor will get intouch if not heard to call back. At 6pm I contacted the surgery again, to be told still on the list for a call back. No phone call received, no text to signpost to another service. Concerned that this practice don't have the capacity to take on anymore patients. A baby should have access to see a healthcare professional.

As carer for my disabled adult child, I continue to be extremely appalled at the level of service at this practice. Ever since they registered here, there have been ongoing issues. Ranging from problems with medication, lack of compassion, poor bedside manners, booked phone consultations not happening until days after, inability to access gp appointments and being continually told to go to hospital ‘if it’s that bad’! I am very concerned that vulnerable patients are being put in high risk situations, as a result of the lack of patient care at this practice. I am well aware of the strains that the NHS is under at present and, as a child of someone who worked in the NHS for many years, have nothing but admiration for those who strive to do their best in difficult circumstances. Unfortunately, the issues at this surgery have been going on pre pandemic, and have quite simply deteriorated since. When can we expect this surgery to offer the service it purports to offer the community it serves?

  3. Review titled No empathy

After calling the surgery in great pain to ask when my pain relief prescription would be ready, i was told " i should know when im going to run out" and i would have to wait as the doctors have been in a meeting. There was no "sorry your in pain, i will see what I can do" i was shocked at the uncaring attitude of the receptionist. This left me angry frustrated and still in a lot of pain. As this pain relief is not on repeat prescription i have to go through this every 30 days. Having a full time job, family and Fibromyalgia this is becoming a great inconvenience. Please please either put this on repeat so I can order myself ontime or employ more sympathetic caring staff in your practice. This individual made my situation so much worse with her attitude. Please please can you take thus seriously. No wonder people are abusive with argumentative nhs staff. Please listen to customers . I am still in pain, still no prescription so i willcontact again today, hopefully someone different wll answer.

  4. Review titled Poor service

It is impossible to book an appointment over the phone, you have to use askmygp, which goes off-line 3 minutes after 8am. The instruction is to be by your phone and check emails for a response. I wait all day for a call or email. At 16:55 - almost 9 hours after my message - I received an email that says I may need to go to A&E for an assessment. No one took the time to speak to me, or even to write a coherent email explaining why I might need to go to A&E and what I should expect to happen when I got there. What is the point of a GP service if they cannot communicate to patients and only tell them to use an already overstretched alternative NHS service, such as A&E?
