  1. Review titled Very Caring

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 10 October 2024

The staff at the surgery are very caring and professional in their attitude to the patient. Should one have a problem that could be serious they pull out all the stops to get the necessary treatment as quickly as possible. I had a problem with a set of blood results and the doctor checking the results phoned me while I was driving to go through the next steps. They also phoned me again to check that their referral had gone through and I was going to have treatment quickly.

  2. Review titled How is it this bad

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 17 October 2024

I’ve been trying for over a week to make an appoint, using anima (which is never available) and calling at 8am. Called during the day to be told the system only allows non urgent booking to be made between 10am and 10.30. Where is this information publicised anywhere ? It feels as if it’s all just made up, and not actually supporting community needs. The booking systems are a nightmare.

  3. Review titled Waste of gp time

Rated 3 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 08 October 2024

All I needed was a referral for repeat bone scan. Both the doctor and myself felt that waiting 8 days for a telephone conversation was unnecessary as this was purely an administrative task, so wasting the doctor’s precious time and delaying referral by the week.

  5. Review titled Poor information

Rated 3 stars out of 5

by Steven Ede - Posted on 08 October 2024

Thought I had appointment as that's what it seemed when I booked for my flu vaccine. On the day had trouble finding some where to park as all car parks were full so had to park further away, rushed to surgery so as not to be late for my appointment only to find it was a mass vaccination program and queue was out the door. So I did not really have a proper appointment as your messages suggested at 10:12 am I was just one of many which should have been made clear when I booked appointment.

Thank you for your feedback, and we are sorry for the confusion and inconvenience you experienced during the weekend flu clinic. The clinic was designed to flow quickly for patients, but we understand how frustrating it must have been to have been given a specific appointment time, only to find there was a queue. We could have communicated this more clearly, and apologise for the added stress of parking difficulties and rushing to arrive on time. Your feedback will help us improve communication for future clinics. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Kind regards, Reach Healthcare Management Team

Went to have my flu jab along with many other people, but the queue was well organised and only in the queue for a couple of minutes. Male nurse asked questions which were easily answered, jab given, job done.

I rang up first as a could not read messages on NHS app . Appointments where sorted messages to confirm when I went for the appointment booked in the staff put you at your ease and was affective in their care and practice . They made the experience pleasant with a task I do not like doing.
