  1. Review titled Excellent service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

The GP who saw me at an evening appointment was extremely empathetic and understanding about the symptoms I was suffering with. The admin staff who initially took by call had extremely good service as did the Nurse who took down my details to refer me to the GP. While I was waiting at the evening clinic there was a very rude patient that the admin staff gracefully kept composure and professionalism with. Each staff member is a credit to the GP practice. Keep up the good service in extremely difficult times. I hope this message motivates the staff to continue what they are doing and to just know that it doesn't go unnoticed. You do not need this review to say what wonderful work you are doing , but sometimes it is nice as I am sure you only hear or read about the bad stuff and complaints.

  2. Review titled avoid at all costs

I've tried to arrange for an appointment at 15:15 this afternoon to be informed of the usual response "no appointments" for a doctor at two sites. There was an out of hours nurse available with less qualifications than a doctor however with my symptoms of coughing up blood, a doctor would be required in my case, my symptoms were given over the phone. I was also informed 6 doctors work from 08:00 - 18:30 with 4,000 patients which isn't good enough. Appointments can only be made from 08:00 and 13:00 onwards until they've all gone so that would tell anybody the system is unfair and doesn't cater for anybody unable to reach the telephone until after certain hours. Appointments should be allocated in batch slots throughout the whole day. The appointments aren't evenly shared on their stupid NHS app either, everytime I've looked, there hasn't been one single appointment available, again this app isn't fair to the patients who can't use the telephone if only a small few are allocated in one batch from 08:00 each morning. To top it off, the woman who took my call was unprofessional where she answered, "Hello, Reedyford Healthcare" opposed to giving her name in the same sentence to make me aware who I was talking to. I believe all of these problems would just confirm how much of a cesspit Burnley including all surrounding areas is.

  3. Review titled Excellent care

As a new patient this was my second visit, to have a blood pressure monitor fitted. I mentioned a blemish that was troubling me. The nurse called for one of the practitioners to have a look and after a discussion and taking a photo I was fast tracked to Dermatology. Very caring and thorough attention. Thank you.
