    I called this morning to book appointment as I had an ongoing illness and after putting off for weeks I finally decided I need to see doctor. I called and was immediately told they are unable to book appointment and I must do online. I explained I am panicking, no empathy given, not acknowledgement. I wasn't even asked if I could read or write or have access to a computer or online system. I was cut off. I worry for the elderly patients & those who struggle to read or write or those with disabilities. It has now put me off visiting my GP and if it wasn't urgent I wouldn't be visiting.

    Good afternoon, thank you for taking the time to visit this page and leave a review. At Riverside, we strive to deliver a high standard of care at all times and I am sorry you feel we failed to do so during your recent contact with us. I would like to investigate your concerns further and as all of our calls are recorded, if I am able to identify yourself as a patient then I will be able to listen to the call and address the points you have raised as this is certainly not what I would expect of any member of the practice team and it certainly not something that has been raised before.     I have needed medical assistance on 4 different days this week. I contacted the surgery for myself and my husband using the phone and tha Anima system. The responses from both the receptionist at Gringley and on the phone was excellent resulting in on the day face to face appointments and phone advice. I got the treatment, medication and advice that I needed, delivered in a very friendly helpful manner. We are very lucky to be part of this practice and would recommend it to anyone. It is much appreciated. Thank you.

At Riverside we constantly strive to deliver a high standard of care and I am pleased to hear you received the answers you needed in a time appropriate manner. It is always nice to hear from our patients who recognise and acknowledge the team who are dealing with patients constantly throughout the day.
