Dear Zeeshan, I am sorry to hear you of your experience at the practice that day. We do try our best to see patients on time however this can be difficult more so when we have emergencies, this can impact on the timings of the clinics. Our clinical staff have 10 mins per patient as per the standard appointment times set out by NHSE. Most patients can take longer than this, however rather than rebook patients we do our upmost to see them that day. You did advise that other patients had been seen before your time however we have a number of clinics running at the same time with numerous GPs, ANPS, Pharmacists, Practice Nurses, HCAs. I would like to reassure you that we do take all patient feedback very serious in order to improve patients outcomes. Your comments will be discussed in our next practice meeting. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused you. We have recently set up a Patient Participation Group at the practice and would welcome you joining the group. Please look on the practice website or contact the practice for further details. Regards Miss S Smith - Practice Manager

Review titled Great Practice
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Rochelle Taylor - Posted on 03 June 2024
I took my son today for his first ever blood test. I was worried with how he might take it as he’s only 2 years old but the Nurse was amazing. He was so calm and although slightly confused as to what was happening he didn’t flinch or cry once. I was amazing. She was super informative and friendly and I was in and out within minutes. Thank You.

Thank you for your feedback on the website, We have just recently trained a new staff member at the practice to carry out Pediatric bloods. This service is an additional service which we offer as a practice to all practices across Bury. I am grateful for the lovely comments and the positive experience both yourself and and 2 year old, of which can be an extremely stress time for you both. Its reassuring to hear your positive experience and I will ensure this is feedback to the staff member. Regards Miss S Smith - Practice Manager

Dear Mr Smale, I am sorry to hear you had a negative experience with the practice. All our staff are now trained in care navigation and should advise you of the best healthcare professional for your concern. Calling at 8am is only for patients where this is urgent and need to be see the same day. We have a number of options for patients to also see pharmacists and Advanced Nurse Practitioners who can all prescribe. We also have advance bookings on the appointment book at the practice. I have also discussed your concern with the Team leaders who overview reception to ensure all patients are treated with courteous and caring attitude at all times. I also monitor the calls and we do play them to staff members if the need occurs to identify any learning issues. Please accept our apologies on this occasion as this is not the service we expect any of our patients to have. Regards Miss S Smith - Practice Manager

Review titled Great practice
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Andrew Green - Posted on 07 May 2024
After 5 months of being incapacitated due to an issue with my feet that left me crippled, I saw a Dr I'd not seen previously who prescribed a course of medication, which, after just one week, has seen me go from having to use a wheelchair (or crutches if its been a very short walk) to being able to walk unaided. To say that I'm delighted with the result is an understatement, I've no doubt that he will have many other very happy patients

Review titled Amazing receptionist and nurse
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 20 April 2024
i’m not actually a patient at this practice but my daughter had a blood test here. The receptionist was so lovely and so attentive to my daughter who was a bit nervous! I didn’t catch her name but she had brown hair in a high pony tail! She was really friendly and could not do enough to help us, the nurse we saw was also incredibly kind and patient with my daughter. I am seriously considering changing practices after such a pleasant experience! The whole experience has changed my daughters opinion on blood tests and I couldn’t be more thankful to the team!

Thank you for your lovely feedback left on the website which has been discussed in our recent practice meeting and the staff member has been informed. I am pleased to hear both yourself and your daughter had a positive visit to the practice that day. We currently provide the service for all GP practices in Bury additionally to the regular GP services to all our patients. We have an excellent clinical and none clinical team which myself and the lead GP have been working with for the past 12 months. Our key aim was to ensure we provide excellent primary care services to all our patients along with the residents of bury who use the Pediatric blood clinics. Once again thank you for taking the time to feedback to us. Regards Miss S Smith - Practice Manager

Review titled Great Doctor
Rated 3 stars out of 5
by Michelle - Posted on 26 March 2024
I would like to commend Dr A in every aspect possible, from his mannerism, his understanding and his ability to make the illness I have suffered (for the past 15-20 years) actually make sense to me. He has put me on a pathway to actually deal with the source of my illness instead of just treating the symptoms (as well as treating my symptoms) He has listened to me which should be what any doctor should do but I have met quite a few over the years and they sadly haven’t done, I have walked away from many consultations over the years frustrated and upset because I wasn’t listened to and felt like I was just a name and number to them and like I was taking too much time in my appointment, and that is why I wanted to write a review because he is, in my opinion what any good doctor should strive to be. He has literally restored my faith in going to the GP surgery and asking for help. I have been with Rock healthcare for over 7 years now and this is the first time in those years that I feel comfortable and able to have a proper consultation with the doctor. So Thank you Dr A, it is very much appreciated. I would write his name but I am not allowed to, but he knows who he is.

Dear Michelle, Thank you for taking the time to feedback to the practice regarding the positive experience you have had with one of the GPs. All feedback is discussed with the team in our monthly practice meetings. Its important for us to ensure that we listen to all our patients as your rightly advised this is a key element to identifying the main route of the problem. I do hope that you now feel confident to seek his advise and reach out to the practice when you need help. We now have a excellent clinical and none clinical team which I have been working hard with for the last 12 months to ensure we have a sustainable workforce for the future and provide excellent Primary Care Services to all of our patients. Dear Chris, I am sorry to hear your recent experience of the practice was negative. All our reception staff are trained in care navigation which enables staff to signpost to the correct service. We also have emergency on the day appointments, pharmacy & ANP triage for urgent issues. In addition we have the support from MSK who have regular weekly clinics at the practice to deal with issues of this nature. There are many painkillers which you are able to buy over the counter at the local pharmacists to assist in pain relief along with the NHS websites which advise patients on various ailments. I would also like to advise you that all feedback on the website is discussed in our monthly practice meetings. We consider all patient feedback a valuable resource in order to develop new ways of working and improve services and outcomes for patients. I have recently set up a Patient Participation Group meeting which is held every 3 months at the practice. If you could spare the time to come along please ask at the reception or refer to the practice website for further information. Regards Miss S Smith - Practice Manager
