Review titled Great service from all staff
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 20 December 2024
Called on an afternoon to make appointment, advised to ring next morning at 8.30 Rang next morning - Receptionist went out of her way to find me an appointment that I could attend Dr very thorough and explained what was to be done and why. Dr called me with results of blood tests and X-ray results the next morning. She explained clearly the next steps I couldn’t ask for a better service Thank you

Review titled Terrible reception service
Rated 3 stars out of 5
by Stuart Stephenson - Posted on 09 September 2024
I have a prescription for medication that can come in 100 or 50mg dosage. The doctor agreed to prescribe the 50mg so I can have flexibility. However, at the chemist I had to pay for 2 prescriptions - 100s and 50s separately. I contacted the surgery to ask why I could not just have both on one prescription or just 50mg so I could adjust the dose myself. Totally useless and unhelpful receptionist would not even acknowledge the point or give any advice! She basically tried to tell me I had 2 amounts for different days and that was correct as 2 prescriptions - maybe I could chuck in a third day of 150 and get 3 prescriptions, one of which containing exactly the same as the other 2!!! This is actually what someone I know gets. Truly awful service.

Review titled They could learn the rules for being a temporary patient
Rated 3 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 03 April 2024
I registered as a temporary patient with this practice in Newcastle I had registered before with another practice nearer to where I live, so when I came that time ran out, and I came down with a worrying illness Iregistered at a temp patient. I had a diagnosis of pneumonia and was treated for it but it has in the last week come back.I called the surgery and was told I'd been taken off the list. I explained I was entitled to 3 months and ongoing if I needed help. I am now in a relapse, and worried. I also chose this surgery as it as not in my residential area, which is a very rough area. I am registered with a GP where live, far from this one and the GP there gave me antibiotics which helped for a month but I dindn't expect to feel ill again. The current surgery in question told me I should have registered with a surgery near where I live, but many are out of the way and the area is rough. At first I saw a wonder GP who has now left, as I was told today. Another kind DR is on holiday so I was left with a receptionist who was quite harsh towards me. I am in a lot of pain with the infected lung but I felt I didn't matter because I'm an older patient

Review titled Always feel supported
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 01 March 2024
Experienced caring support over the years through childbirth, motherhood, ongoing gynaecological issues and general health issues for myself and my family. Always able to get an appointment which is truly important. Most recent experience with one of the partners and nurse was excellent - helped me access the right treatment and put my mind at rest. Thank you Roseworth for looking after us all these years.

Review titled Disappointing care
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Mr G Hall - Posted on 16 November 2023
A practice that falls short in patient care from start to finish. Confusing advice where you have to go in with your own solution before anything gets resolved. A very frustrating experience that I feel the need to share. If you bring a problem to their attention you are patronised by the admin staff.

Review titled Brilliant Practice!
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Maria - Posted on 17 August 2023
Thank you to the Doctors and the whole Team for their professionalism, kindness and empathy. They are great communicators and actually listen to what you are worrying about. They have allowed me to be in control of my own health issues but gently guided me on the sideline. I really like this approach and I have never experienced before - this is unique! I am very grateful for the appointments booked in without long delays and for the Team who say they will call me and actually make that call.
