  1. Review titled Gone downhill

Communication is not a strongpoint of Royal Primary Care (rpc) Brooklyn. Received several texts about unknown "appointments" which upon long and drawn out telephone call enquiries turned out to be not appointments made by me or with my knowledge. Wish I could turn the clock back to before rpc took over.

  2. Review titled Medication review

Rated 1 star out of 5

I have recently had a medication review via phone, while waiting for the appointment I could not re order my medication so had run out, When the requested prescription has finally been issued, after the review phone call, the prescription has not been sent to my nominated pharmacy as it has previously! I have been in considerable pain without medication for 4 days now! Why my prescription hasn’t been sent is beyond me and as it’s now Saturday I will be un medicated until Monday! Please sort this out because if this is going to happen after every medication review you’re going to have quite a few people spending days without their pain relief etc

  3. Review titled Great practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Just wanted to say what a good service I have received over the last few weeks, I’ve just had a knee replacement & had a few complications, rang to speak to dr they couldn’t of been more helpful. I now find myself with an ear infection I rang Monday morning no problem got an appointment same day then had to return today , I rang the receptionist said can you come now ! Which I did for some antibiotics. I know everyone doesn’t find it this easy but if you treat everyone at the practice with respect I think it helps , there have been many changes and it must be difficult to adapt.

  4. Review titled Extremely Poor Practice, and unpolite receptionists

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Katy - Posted on 20 May 2024

It's been extremely frustrating trying to secure an appointment. My mother received a sensitive and serious diagnosis from a nurse, who seemed unaware that a GP had not yet discussed this with her, she thought they had the wrong person. We've been attempting to book an appointment with a GP to understand the implications of this diagnosis, but it's been impossible. Over the past two working days, I have called multiple times and tried to explain the urgency to the receptionist. However, I was rudely interrupted before I could fully explain our situation, only to be told abruptly that no appointments were available. It's my understanding that best practice involves enquiring about the reason for the call to properly assist patients, not dismissing them as quickly as possible. This experience has been very disheartening and concerning.
