  1. Review titled Don't even bother

Rated 1 star out of 5

3000 characters is simply not enough space to put my experience down for the last 3 weeks. Safe to say that if you actually want to see medical professional you basically need to be prepared to wait for over 90 minutes on the phone. They offer a call back service really don't waste your time because they don't call back. The receptionist 'team' will do anything for you not to see a doctor but am sure they get to see a doctor at anytime they like. I have lodged a formal complaint but don't expect any information from the result of a so called 'investigation' as they just ignore any contact made. Finally if you do decide to use this place br prepared to suffer poor health as you can never actually speak to anyone never mind see a doctor.

  2. Review titled Disgusted.

Rated 1 star out of 5

Four times in the past year I have gone to the chemist to pick my repeat prescription up,only to be told it was "void" due to being sent twice from the Drs at Grangewood.Four times I rang to make them aware there was a computer error,& could they sort it,but I'm still having problems!! This is diabolical, & not fair on me as it's not my fault the prescription cant be dispensed! To make matters worse,my elderly neighbour was fobbed off with codiene, then told to pee in a bowl & get someone to bring it to surgery, when it turned out he has a broken back!!! Once my next appointment is over,I am leaving this practice. Will miss most of the nurses & receptionists though,as most have been brilliant.

  3. Review titled Great practice

Rated 4 stars out of 5

Thank you to the GP I saw today, who put me at my ease and allowed me time to explain my symptoms. The intervention was kind and considerate ensuring I was happy with the follow up. I also want to mention the receptionist (sorry didn't catch name) who rang me early evening to give me an earlier appointment for my tests. They went the extra mile and in these days of problems within the NHS it was heartwarming for such a kind and considerate act. For that I send many thanks.

  4. Review titled Telephone answering non existent Practice a waste of time!

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Maureen Vann - Posted on 20 December 2022

Received a phone message today to return the call.. Several attempts resulted in finally having the 5 minute count down - cutting off after the first 5 minutes. 2 nd attempt was down to 1 minute for 15 minutes. Finally we were told that the prescription was not available at any chemist. Which we already knew, as we had returned the prescription as being unavailable and were told a new prescription would be available the following afternoon (today) but we’re informed nothing was available but to use a mouth wash!!!! The receptionist was helpful it’s a shame the rest of the practice is not.

Hi Maureen Thank you for your feedback. We are really sorry that this was your experience with us and that we were unable to help you in this situation. Unfortunately we can only prescribe what is available in the pharmacies and there has been some medication shortages in the last couple of months which is affecting some patients. We understand that this is frustrating but ultimately it's something that is out of our control. If you feel we have not addressed your concern or would like to raise this further, please feel free to fill in the following form with more information: https://www.rpcchesterfield.co.uk/complaint-compliment--concern-form Kind Regards, Royal Primary Care
