    Despite saying they open at 8, couldnt get through until 23 minutes past. I was then told i was number 8 in the queue, took 40 minutes to get to number one in the queue where i was instantly hung up on. Now i cant get through once again. Absolute joke. Angry in an understatement

    When I call between 8:00 and 8:22 I am repeatedly hung up on before I can even reach a holding queue. At 8:23 I am able to get through and I am usually told there are no more appointments left. I questioned the fact id been unable to speak to anyone and was told it was a fault in their phone lines. If they receive a large number of calls then the calls are rejected. They are aware but nothing seems to be done. Fobbed off and told to ‘Use the NHS app’.

    Contacted last week concerning my annual review and bloods and an appointment was made for the following Monday at 13.10 when I arrrived at 1300 the receptionist greeted me with a smile after she completed the telephone call she was occupied with ,she very quickly ascertained who I was and what I had called for and kindly asked me to take a seat. I was called to my appointment at 1307and treated by a very professional practice nurse who treated me with repect and kindness, she took my bloods and I absolutely did not feel the needle at all, she completed all the necessary tasks and with a smile said thank you. I can only say well done for excellence in this instance.
