All staff were very helpful and friendly. I had no issues getting an appointment. I would recommend this doctors to anybody who needs a doctor in this area.

Was told by the pharmacist that my daughter needed an appointment with a GP, due to extreme swelling and infection in her lower face and neck. I went in to the surgery, only to be told I would need to fill in a form and would be contacted within 48 hours. I live in Rushall, and know from speaking to people, you end up waiting almost the full 2 days. Given that she couldn't eat or move her jaw, this was unacceptable. I went back to the pharmacist, who advised me to go to the walk in centre at the Manor hospital, who were brilliant, and rushed her through as she was presenting some symptoms of sepsis. Fortunately it hadn't got that bad, and she was prescribed strong antibiotics, we were in and out in under an hour.

I called in the week after filling out a form for an appointment on the morning to see whether I would be able to have an emergency appointment. The receptionist on the phone was extremely rude and told me 'cancer patients would get priority over me'. I understand some patients are more in need of others but found this comment completely unacceptable, unprofessional and also triggering. People call the doctor for an appointment in times of need and to be spoken to in such a manner, showing no empathy whatsoever, is really disappointing. As a receptionist and as the face/first point of contact for people, you should be there to offer support and guidance. However, in this case, the receptionists here are doing nothing but shining the practice in a negative light. I will be looking for a new GP.

Don't recommend at all. Everything, literally is via test or online, including the impossible booking of appointments. It's impossible to get an emergency appointment, when you do finally get through, you are either told there's nothing available or don't qualify for an emergency. Medication is ordered from an app, not all is show on there and the notes are very regularly ignored causing missed medication.

Dear Donna, Thank you for your feedback. We have implemented the Patient Triage system as instructed by NHS England. This means that patients can request GP appointments online via our website. This has been put in place to help reduce our call times. We also now have a new telephone system which has a patient call back feature. Therefore if you are unable to stay in the call queue, a receptionist can call you back later that day. Unfortunately we do not have any control over the NHS APP/Patient Access/other online apps as they do not allow acute medicine requests. Wouldn’t answer phone tried all day Tuesday and Wednesday morning to see if they have referred my son to the district’s nurse in the end had to go down they said it had been done, Wednesday night we had to ring the nurse they told us they couldn’t find him on the system nothing had been done so she couldn’t come out to change my sons bag, she told us to go to a&e we were told on Tuesday at the hospital they would referral it to the nurses and doctors.l think it is very bad not to answe the phone straight away.

My aunt has been ill for some time and became bed bound abour 2 years ago. The practice could not have been more helpful accommodating and friendly. I have on several occasions had to have the doctor / paramedic out to my aunt and they have always been prompt, thorough and have explained her condition and medication in detail. I have nothing but praise for the staff from reception right through to the doctors and medic. Sadly my aunt passed away but may thanks to all at Rushall Medical Centre

I can find no fault with Rushall Medical Center. I've been going there for years and the service has always been exceptional from the receptionist to the doctors and the staff in between.
