This Practice is incredibly well run. Reception staff were pleasant and listened well. They gave appropriate referrals and advice. My repeat prescription request was scrutinised and promptly authorised and approved. Communication was excellent. The doctors I spoke with were pleasant at all times, did not give the impression of rushing consultations, and referred me to specialists as necessary. Thankyou ‘Rutherford Road’

I feel so grateful and fortunate to be a patient at Rutherford. The surgery has been a reassuring, professional, accessible and safe environment for me and my family over the last 8 years. The surgery is well run - appointments are always organised in plenty of time and communicated clearly. The staff running the office are always personable, professional and empathetic, I never feel like I’m bothering them with requests or queries and they are a friendly presence when you arrive. The doctors and nurses are the same - my daughters always seem to save getting poorly for Friday afternoons, but I’m always so impressed and thankful that the surgery are accommodating to their symptoms and my worries, even when they must be shattered and ready to go home! This was the case today - I called around 17.30 on a Friday evening as my daughter had a temperature of 40 and was drowsy and off her food. Within 20 mins we’d had a call back from the doctor and within 30 mins we were in the surgery having her checked over. When I hear my friends and family discussing their frustrations with the experience they have with their local surgeries, I’m lucky to be able to contradict them and sing the praises of Rutherford. Thank you for all you’ve done and do for me and my family, we are very grateful and appreciative.

I saw a doctor who was new to me. He was brilliant. He listened, was kind and I think he has fixed a problem that had been going on for a while. He didn’t treat the problem- he found the cause. I will be asking if I can see him in future.

I am always impressed with Rutherford road surgery, from the receptionists to the doctors all are friendly, helpful and professional. I attended the surgery yesterday with my 5year old son who had ear ache and an eczema flare up, I had never had the pleasure of meeting this dr before, but I was so impressed with him. He was so good with my little boy, explaining what he was doing, allowing my son to look at the medical items that were used to look in his ears and even allowing him to listen to his own heart ! He took time, listened and explained to me about his eczema and was just lovely. I can not speak highly enough of him. The only downside is that my son liked him so much he has asked me today if we can go back to see him !! The receptionists are always helpful and polite- I sm very lucky to be a patient here .

I'd just like to feed back how pleased my family and I are to have switched to your surgery. I called at 8:10 yesterday morning. No waiting, and call complete in less than a minute. Callback at 9am and appointment at 10am. I was seen at 10am on the dot. The doctor was friendly, knowledgeable and empathetic. Rutherford is such a well-run surgery - a breath of fresh air. Thank you!

On a daily basis I hear how others have huge difficulties in getting through via the phone to their GP practice, I rang and within less than 2 mins got through, I was offered an appointment to fit into my schedule. My consultation went well and although minor in nature the GP provided me with all the info I needed. Upon exiting the practice the staff are always polite and it’s nice to say thanks.

After a short hold I spoke to GP staff who booked a GP appointment in a weeks time. The kind nurse previously had taken my health measurements so this was a follow-up to reassure me with other concerns that I had The locum GP was thorough and I felt safe and assured. Thank you
