I've been going to Rutland House for 10 years and have always been very impressed with the standard of care. This week I had an appointment within two days and was seen on a Saturday morning, with hardly any waiting time. As ever, the doctor and reception staff were excellent. This practice is the perfect example of why we should treasure the NHS and its hard-working staff - thank you!

I was nervous being with a new practice having all my life been with Queens Avenue Surgery where sadly all the doctors retired. My experience so far has been very positive. Yes waiting times to hold on the phone are invariably long but it’s the same for everywhere these days. However, once through receptionists I have found are always personable and helpful. I have had occasion to see two doctors both of whom have been excellent and one in particular has old school attitude unhurried and listens and most of all very knowledgable and professional. So far extremely happy with Rutland and with so many hundreds of patients not sure how they manage this but they seem to be doing admirably!!

The doctor sent me for an X-ray and straight away called me with my results that I had to go straight to hospital for a short stay, and when I came out the the doctor called to see how I was doing. All the staff and doctors at this practice are all excellent and vey helpful.

I would like to thank Rutland House surgery for their extremely responsive and proactive approach with my administrative request. Greatly appreciated, thank you. I sent an email on Sunday and got a reply on Sunday so I am assuming a member of staff is working above and beyond their working hours.

I have called the surgery and the Dr was so helpful with me finding me an emergency appointment to get my breast checked. She went out and beyond to find me a hospital in different places in London so that I could get an early scan before I travel. I was really greatful to her and I had been thinking the whole week of leaving a review

I understand that NHS service providers are under pressure but at the same time more care needs to be taken to ensure patients' prescription requests are processed with care and attention and patients don't end up with medication that can blind them or cause further damage or pain resulting in more pressure on the NHS. I should have ben prescribed preservative free dexamethasone because the preservative gave me eye-inflammation and cloudy vision but I wasn't. My prescription said in single -dose containers due to difficulty applying the drops from a 6ml bottle but Rutland House Pharmacist for whatever reason feels unable to prescribe the drops specified by my Consultant in spite of my visiting and phoning the practice to clarify. It has been extremely stressful visiting and calling the practice since my cataract removal surgery. I am now out of drops waiting for an urgent prescription from the practice.

I have received good attention to date but getting through to the reception takes too long and communication problems are difficult to resolve as you have to find the time to wait around on the phone. I have a particular problem in that I have been asked to supply information via a reply within a secure messaging service but there is a notification saying I am unable to reply in the service itself which is completely unfriendly. Not sure how best to resolve.

I have been with this surgery for about five years.I have always received the best of treatment.The receptionists are always polite whether on the phone or face to face.The doctors and nurses could not be nicer and very good at their jobs. In all theses years I have no complaints at all. I like the fact that you can contact them on line for non urgent problems (i have a phone phobia) .Although telephones make me panic I do like that we can have phone appointments because I hate taking up a doctors time . I think even through the pandemic I had excellent treatment and no problems contacting the Gp or even having face to face appointments when needed. This is the best surgery in the area and am pleased I am one of their patients.

I have been with Rutland House about 4 years, as it now incorporates my old practice at Queens Avenue, which was also excellent. Since being at Rutland House, I have had nothing but the very best, caring, professional and immediate treatment of various health issues. All the reception staff and doctors have been attentive, polite and available and, at a time when I know that the NHS is under such pressures, it is extraordinarily reassuring. Thank you.

My family has been with Rutland House since moving to the area 7 years ago. They’ve take such incredible care of all of us. When talking with friends and family about their experience of wait times, unsympathetic appointments and general issues with their own medical practices I always feel incredibly grateful to be under the care of Rutland. Despite the strains of the pandemic I have never once had an issue with their treatment of us. Recently I received treatment from the Whittington and the practice pharmacist called me within 2 weeks to check how the medication was and again another 2 weeks after. No prompting - just part of the excellent service. Rare to find such a well run and “human” GP service. Can’t recommend highly enough!!
