    Consultation with Gp that I had not seen before. Was competent and put me at ease. Listened to my medical problems. Prescribed medication and tests that will help with my ongoing problems. Would recommend this gp.

    The phlebotomist put me at ease. Was competent and pleasant. If I have to give blood again, I hope he would be the phlebotomist! My only complaint, that the 'check in' machine stated whether A or B waiting room. If not possible, a clear list of who is in which section.

    Pleasant and helpful receptionist. Felt comfortable with doctor and his comments and medical care.sometimes hard to get appointments but not usually too long to wait.

We have had such an increase in demand through the winter months and our capacity has definitely been tested.     I have nothing but respect for Westfield surgery, They are always helpful Receptionists, Nurses, Paramedics, Doctors excellent service under difficult circumstances, they all work very hard Well Done .

    My appointment was on time, quick and efficient. The Dr I saw was welcoming, with smile, talked through my history and recent blood test in detail and offered sound advice for the future. This advice was backed up with statistical analysis and gave an insight of future well being. The practice has under gone a structure change since my last appointment which has resulting in the merging of what was 2 individual practices. In my opinion this is a good thing as it pools the knowledge and resources of all the Doctors available. The only downside to merging is that the practice tends to operate from the old split waiting rooms and there didn’t seem to be any indication which side you’d have your appointment with.

    Severe leg pain tracing back to near fatal car crash in 2005. Two doctors in particular have been of great help very recently. I believe that a patient should contribute to the discussion of treatment in order to obtain the most suitable and best. Be polite and ask for help when needed. I could not have received better service than from the two doctors recently seen. Someone may have the best qualifications in the world, but if unable to listen and understand they are not the best doctor. Thank you.

    Having had the good fortune to have a fabulous GP practice in my home town for over fifty years, I was not looking forward to my first appointment at this practice. However, the professionalism, kindness and clinical expertise shown to me was second to none and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ryland Surgery for anyone considering registering with the practice. I have worked in the NHS for over thirty years, across a range of clinical and academic settings and have fairly high expectations at both personal and professional levels. The care I have received so far has been exemplary and a perfect example of what professional, collaborative health care should look like.

    I received the Yellow Fever vaccination at this practice, I recently contacted them again for a copy of the certificate in order to travel. Although they were able to confirm that I had received the vaccination there, they were not able to re-print the certificate for me as they no longer off the vaccine. I was told I would need to contact another clinic for a copy however I was told that I would have to use 'Google' to find one as they were did not know any. I find this advice extremely unprofessional, unhelpful and rather rude.

    I’ve been trying to get in touch with this GP all day, and have been in a queue for over an hour. I’m then greeted by rude receptionists who don’t seem to care that you’ve been waiting all day!
