Saw a different Dr today very professional and seemed to care for patients and there well being was very thorough And asked lots of questions some of my meds changed and two x-rays required felt very reassured when leaving the surgery first time for a long time

I received a message from the Surgery to book for my yearly health check. All the appointments were co-ordinated to minimise time away from work. All the staff (receptionists, HCA and Doctors) were courteous and helpful.

I was very disappointed and annoyed with how this telephone appointment was handled in respect of of the efficiency of keeping to my appointment time. The surgery phoned me and booked a telephone consultation for 10.20am. This was confirmed in the NHS app. I agreed to this time as it fitted with my arrangements for that day. I was ready and waiting for the call at 10.20am. I waited until 11.00am, still no call. I had to go out and drive to my sisters for caring for her and get her some groceries on the way. The surgery eventually called at 11.20 am. 1 hour after my agreed appointment time. I took the call in a supermarket car park. The consultation itself was fine. However, I was told that the surgery staff should not have agreed a specific appointment time and that the call could have been between 9.00am and 1.00pm, a 4 hour timespan. I feel it is unreasonable to expect someone to be available for 4 hours, a maximum of 30 minutes would seem more reasonable to me if the appointment time cannot be strictly adhered to.

Dear patient, thank you for taking the time to complete this online review, we are thankful for all comments from patients and review this information for ways to improve our service. I am sorry that the call times were inconvenient for you. The reason we do not issue specific times for the telephone consultations is that if the GP runs over the clinic or there is an emergency that the GP's have to deal with in clinic this leaves the patients concerned that the GP hasn't contacted them they then chase this up with the surgery reception staff. We do advise a call between 9-1pm but patients can request a specific time frame with reception if they have other engagements and we do try to accommodate this although its not always possible. I will speak to the team regarding this to see if changes to this procedure need to be reviewed and amended. Thank you for raising this and if you feel you need to discuss this further, please contact the surgery to speak to the practice manager. Kind Regards

Had To Have Stitches Removed Recently But The Two GP's Who Were Practicing Seen That' That Wasn't Possible And There Was A Problem And They Was Really Helpful Before My Way To The Hospital And The Level Of Care Was Amazing, Can't Thankyou Again Enough

You have to wait too long for a routine appointment to get abnormal blood results and then the Dr was late for his clinic and my appointment was 25 mins late as a result, if I can turn up on time then they should extend the same courtesy!

We welcome all feedback which is then discussed in our practice meeting with all staff, we also use feedback to review ways to improve our service. The surgery do have various ways patients can request routine appointments, we have contact your GP on line available through our website (Accxurex), you can pre-book an appointment on line through the NHS app up to 6 week in advance (with the GP), through the telephone (we do ask for all routine appointment request calls are requested from 10am as between 8am-10am is our busy telephone period) or patients can walk in and request an appointment. I apologise that the GP was late with their clinic sometimes this does happen in view of traffic or an emergency in the surgery but we do try and keep the patients updated. With regards to the results appointments, once the GP reviews the results they advise the reception team the maximum waiting time for the patient to be seen/spoken to to discuss any results this can be anything from urgent on the day to routine max waiting time of 4-6 weeks depending on the results. If you do wish to discuss this further, please do not hesitate to contact the surgery and speak to the Practice Manager.

Reception staff are absolutely lovely and so helpful. They have managed to get me seen by the practice nurse at short notice twice within the last week. Practice nurse is also fabulous and I couldn’t have wished for better care (better than that received in a private hospital recently) for a surgical incision that had opened up and become infected. Dressing was changed and all follow up appointments have been booked in advance meaning I don’t have to call up first thing to be seen.
