Nurse saw me regarding my cough of 4 th week now , gave me antibiotics to take. 5 minutes from seeing receptionist to leaving , excellent

I wanted to see my regular GP for some acute medical issues, and this was not possible. After two weeks I managed to talk to another GP for less than 5 minutes! The whole experience has put me off of seeing my own doctor.

All patients are able to request a specific clinician, however this may not always be possible due to sickness and annual leave, we do try our upmost to accommodate individual patients needs and requests. The gentleman doctor we saw was very friendly, efficient, caring and conscientious with my eldely mother and refered her for the appropriate tests and followed up with a telephone call to relay results and the way forward with her treatment.

The staff both in reception and the medical staff are very friendly and helpful. Both of the nurses I have seen have been kind and understanding, and I feel that my doctor actually listens to me. My only criticism is that it's near impossible to get an appointment, although I suspect that this is true of every practice.

We do offer a range of methods to request an appointment. If routine you can use your on line method by visiting our website www.thesaddlershealthcentre.co.uk and clicking the tab contact your GP on line the practice will then respond to your request within 2 working days, you can also the NHS app to view and book any pre-bookable routine appointments with the GP, you can call the surgery for an appointment 8am on the day if urgent or after 10am if a routine appointment and we have appointments up to 6 weeks in advance, or you can also come into surgery to arrange an appointment with our front reception team. The nurse provided an In depth analysis when I came to the practice to receive my travel vaccination. The nurse searched the web to ascertain all potential viruses that may be prevalent in the four countries I am soon to be visiting in the Caribbean. She completed fit to travel document which I will take with me when I go on vacation.

My wife and I are 84 years old and are new to the Sadlers Health centre. The first repeat Prescriptions for both of us were incorrect. Is any one checking this . At the time it caused us grief and pain .

Most of my appointments was cancelled and wasn’t rebooked. Also other peoples appointment comes in my name with time which was more disappointed cause had to wake up early to go gp.
