Had To Have Stitches Removed Recently But The Two GP's Who Were Practicing Seen That' That Wasn't Possible And There Was A Problem And They Was Really Helpful Before My Way To The Hospital And The Level Of Care Was Amazing, Can't Thankyou Again Enough

You have to wait too long for a routine appointment to get abnormal blood results and then the Dr was late for his clinic and my appointment was 25 mins late as a result, if I can turn up on time then they should extend the same courtesy!

Dear patient, thank you for taking the time to complete this online review. We welcome all feedback which is then discussed in our practice meeting with all staff, we also use feedback to review ways to improve our service. The surgery do have various ways patients can request routine appointments, we have contact your GP on line available through our website (Accxurex), you can pre-book an appointment on line through the NHS app up to 6 week in advance (with the GP), through the telephone (we do ask for all routine appointment request calls are requested from 10am as between 8am-10am is our busy telephone period) or patients can walk in and request an appointment. I apologise that the GP was late with their clinic sometimes this does happen in view of traffic or an emergency in the surgery but we do try and keep the patients updated. With regards to the results appointments, once the GP reviews the results they advise the reception team the maximum waiting time for the patient to be seen/spoken to to discuss any results this can be anything from urgent on the day to routine max waiting time of 4-6 weeks depending on the results. If you do wish to discuss this further, please do not hesitate to contact the surgery and speak to the Practice Manager.

Reception staff are absolutely lovely and so helpful. They have managed to get me seen by the practice nurse at short notice twice within the last week. Practice nurse is also fabulous and I couldn’t have wished for better care (better than that received in a private hospital recently) for a surgical incision that had opened up and become infected. Dressing was changed and all follow up appointments have been booked in advance meaning I don’t have to call up first thing to be seen.

I spoke to the pharmacist about my medication and wanting to come off a tablet. The next day I had a call from the surgery giving me a telephone consultation with the Doctor. A few days later the Doctor listened to what I had to say, asked me some questions and said I would need to be weaned off this tablet, he told me how to take it and sent a prescription through to the pharmacy I use. The next morning the new medication was delivered. Communication is vital in all scenarios but I think this has been exceptional.

I have been calling since last week for an appointment for my child logging accurX and also by phone a week later I managed to get an appointment. The phone call lasted less than two minutes where the doctor was speaking to my 16-year-old daughter and totally had the wrong patient. I just cannot believe the amount of money that doctors are paid yet. You can only get an appointment if you tell them it’s mental health or work in a doctor surgery and I cannot believe the way the Saddlers Health center is run. I certainly would not be recommending.

They have such a lovely team, from the reception to the Doctor attending to you. Well organised and composed. To request for appointment might be difficult most time, but I think they triage based on complexity of patients condition and also try to sort for alternative to help you in time. The environment is well aesthetic and welcoming.
