    When you are 26 in the queue the call back facility seemed a good idea. No one rang back. Day after phoned again later in day 16th in the queue so stayed on the phone over an hour as I did not risk the ring back again and when I did get through very poor response from unintelligent receptionist. Had to repeat myself several times and still received an unsatisfactory response. Previously tried to book blood tests on 3 separate occasions 3 weeks before I needed them for the hospital and they could not fit me in so had to go to Lees Brook twice and Mossley once. Am aware of shortage of doctors but a critical shortage of nurses and receptionists? Received better medical attention when I worked in a 3rd world country. How much worse can this practice get?

    This service badly needs help. Called yesterday I was caller 23 at 8.07 am. I took the option of call back. No call back till 9.30 so tried calling them back but was told that there were no appointments available and to try back again the next day. I explained that the pain was keeping me awake I was told to go to walk in or accident and emergency. I tried calling again and I am caller 24 today . I refuse to go to A&E where the wait is 6-8 hours when we are paying our taxes to support our local services. The state of this practice has gone down as the population around has increased which is not reflected on the number of GPs in the practice. The word preventive care has disappeared from the practice ethos. Mobile clinics with GPs should be allocated to this area to prevent a catastrophic event. The practice has lost most of its partners who have taken early retirement replacements have been locums and the NHS should change its values from every one counts to we don’t care anymore !

    Trying to book a routine appointment with a nurse; called at 11.15 on a Tuesday and informed I am number 4 in the queue - took another 46 minutes for my call to go through (my conversation took around 30 seconds, I'm not sure what's going on). No apology for the ridiculous wait time. Getting an appointment has always been difficult but it has become impossible

    In recent years my experience of the medical practice was very positive, however, after trying to get an appointment since first ringing in March I’ve found the practice to be woeful and terribly frustrating. Firstly, whether you get an appointment is at the discretion of the receptionist to assess your ailment and whether you ring at 8:00 or 16:00 they are always full; getting an appointment is like trying to break the enigma code. Furthermore, I rang to discuss multiple issues with the practice and after I’d resolved the first issue and brought up the second, they put the phone down on me. I have tried to change practice but unfortunately due to my location I’m stuck with this one. The management needs a serious review as something desperately needs changing for the welfare of Saddleworth residents.

    Tried to make a non urgent appointment with a nurse. Called on Friday - I was number 2 in the queue for over 30 mins. Couldn't wait on the phone any longer. Called again Monday afternoon. After waiting for over 40 minutes (initially told I was third in the queue), they picked up the phone and put it straight back down. Appalling.

    Waited 6 days for a sicknote to be written, waited daily on phone for at least 30 mins each time to be told it wasn’t ready and wasn’t classed as a priority. Explained my workplace wanted it and they said there was nothing they could do except remind the doctor. This is added stress you don’t need at a time when you are unwell and have to try and find someone to collect the note for you. Very disappointed with the service.

    Responsiveness and follow up by the doctor was highly professional. Failure of front office administrators. One hour wait at appointment, with secretary on front desk not providing feedback or explanation, or expected time to see the doctor. I do not mind waiting, but would appreciate being kept informed. Is this the very best an office manager can be?

    I was encouraged to book an appointment online. This does not work. I also tried to register as a carer online - I filled in the form and this does not work either
