    The two nurses who took blood on 15.8.24 were caring, charming and very professional. They made me as comfortable as possible when taking the blood and answered all the questions I had. They are two excellent members of staff.

    Staff always polite. Arrived 5 minutes early and seen immediately. Disabled parking available. The nurse introduced herself and was very professional. She found my vein straight away and had no problem taking my blood samples.

    I waited for less than five minutes, having checked in, before The practice nurse came out to call me. My appointment took around 10 to 15 minutes maximum, and I came out of the surgery feeling confident that everything had been covered at that appointment.

    Efficient and caring service as always. After phone call to surgery, was given ECG and seen by doctor within 2 hours.

    I have always received prompt and patient response from all the staff and medical practitioners when using this very professional surgery and yesterday again after a review of my ongoing treatment checking my blood pressure heart rate and general health since my knee replacement

    I was seen by a really nice GP, who listened to what I was saying, examined me (my foot), and gave me that little bit of extra time to discuss what type of treatment I could receive, and what kind of treatment I was hoping for, and she then made a further referral.. She also provided me with useful links to health related websites, specific to my problem. I really appreciated her listening, I mean really listening, and her caring manner, and I came away feeling hopeful, rather than fobbed off. One other thing, up to this point I had not been aware that everybody could access Saturday appointments at the surgery, I knew they were available but thought that they were only for people working during the week. This meant I was seen far more promptly, which when you’re in pain means a lot.

    The Doctor I had an appointment with is very supportive of me and my situation. She understood when I spoke to her about my medical situation and was able to sympathise and support me. I am looking forward to meeting with her again in four weeks time!

    I was very concerned about skin cancer. Doctor phoned me back and prompt appointment receceived. She saw the problem and understood my concerns. She was thankfully able to reassure me and said not to hestate to return if further concerns.

    Unfortunately it hasn’t been the first bad experience I’ve had with this GP. On the last occasion I called to make an appointment because my 5 year old son had a fever for a week. From the moment the GP called back, the female had a tone like she was being bothered. Lack of interest, vague information given and had an attitude. I do understand we all go through stuff, but in your line of work, patients call to get your help, not to feel like we are bothering you. Simple things like tone and attitude is what gives NHS a bad name for those who actually do their job well. I’ve been patient and constantly friendly, but I’ve decided to start putting in my complaints from now on because the bad outweighs the good by far.

    I rang this morning and spoke with a young man who was very pleasant and helpful as I couldn’t get into my online account, he sent me details to try to reset it. I tried a few times and locked myself out of my account. I called into the surgery while in town and tried to speak with a thin lady with long hair , however found her very rude and she gave me a slip off paper telling me to send an email as she can’t help me. I was upset when I left as I was hastily disregarded. While returning to my car I received a text to tell me to contact the surgery as still in town I returned, unfortunately the young man was on the other phone . I had to speak with the earlier rude lady, I showed her my text and she went off to speak with someone out off site. Her body language said a lot as she returned , the young man had finished his call by then and asked what the problem was . I was very pleased that he listened and was once again very helpful explaining that he would send me the information to reactivate my account again. What a difference in both receptionists , well done young man for your first class service and patience. Hopefully the lady receptionist will learn some excellent service tips from working along side you. Never before have I ever felt the need to complain about rudeness from your surgery.
