  1. Review titled Impossible to get seen.

Rated 1 star out of 5

Whenever I call up I am put in a queue that is never shorter than 20 people long - which takes at least 30 minutes. Then, when I get to first place in the queue it never transfers me to a receptionist. I went through the process 3 times yesterday before deciding to change GPs. When I rang my new GP, I got through immediately was offered an appointment in under a week. This is saying nothing about the actual doctors who were lovely, but I could never get an appointment with them. People always suggest to me that I should book an appointment online. I would, except they are not taking online requests, and if you go through the Patient Access app, you can only book 4 things, not including a GP consultation!?

Thank you for taking the time to feedback on your experience with the Practice, also thank you for the praise of the GPs. We are very sorry that your experience has fallen below your expectations and your felt you had to move GP surgeries.

  2. Review titled Embarrassing

Rated 2 stars out of 5

I chose this surgery because it was reviewed as having many female doctors. The medical professionals are all lovely, it's the reception that is the issue. I was told from the hospital that if I hadn't heard about test results to ring my GP. 2 hours on hold!! I wasted so much time, I gave up and have yet to find out anything I need to know. whenever I have been in the practice, reception staff are more bothered about the lives of other staff members than helping patients. you ask one person something and will receive completely different information from someone else. I'm so close to changing GP to someone that's actually competent, because the reception staff tell you to ring someone else because they're too lazy to tell you who can help in the surgery

  3. Review titled Can’t fault the standards of care

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I joined this practice a year ago and have used it both for myself and my children. Based on a years worth of experience I can’t fault the standard of care given to us all for a variety of illness’s. My sons asthma is finally under control after 2 years of difficulties. The knowledge of the Asthma Nurse practitioners & the gp lead has been particularly helpful and reassuring. I’ve always been able to get on the day appointments when medically needed, which has taken a huge amount of stress off me vs how I used to feel at the last gp practice I was at. The receptionists are always polite and helpful and far more informed and professional than a lot of other surgeries. I had to ring up in between Christmas and ny 2022 and was surprised that even during this busy period Saville Medical group still managed to deliver an excellent level of care. They are a fantastic surgery with highly trained, approachable, professional staff who are doing an amazing job during the very difficult circumstances the nhs is currently in.
