    The surgery dealt with my problem so efficiently l am so impressed the way every thing was handled. I am a retired doctor and feel happy NHS is continuing its good work inspite of all the hardships!!

    Clinician who administered our flu jabs was unaware that dementia qualifies this year so I was questioned about why my husband was there in front of him .Could have been more tactful and better informed .Left feeling like I was trying it on .uncomfortable experience for my husband who is still aware of what is going on .

    I did an online appointment request for emergency antibiotics and had them in my hand within 2 hours. I cannot fault the prompt service I have received today and very much appreciate it.

    GP surgeries are under increasing massive pressures due to less staff and more and more patients. Saxonbrook has a wonderful system that triages patients to the right kind of help. Not everyone has to see or speak to a doctor- they have paramedics etc working there. In my experience I have always got the help I needed. My only criticism would be that they send out text messages saying prescription is ready and to phone chemist ( Boots on Maidenbower) to see if ready - Boots itself seems to be struggling with the load put on them - so surely a better " joined up" way of communication would be better.? And I have often heard one service blaming the other!Also electronic prescribing is not always instant and may be the system could automatically print out a code for patients to take to a pharmacy routinely? Otherwise- amazing service and I feel lucky I have such an excellent surgery.

    Good Morning Jill, Thank you for taking the time to post your great feedback! I am very pleased to hear that you have had a positive experience with out appointments system. As you mention we have a number of Clinical staff apart from Doctors, including Paramedics and Physician Associates who are all highly trained. We take on board your comments regarding communications between the surgery and Boots. This is something we are actively working on and recently met with the Manager of Boots in our Patient Participation Group meeting. We hope this is something you see improve in the future.     I have experienced Sepsis once myself- and lived. A colleagues daughter of 3 did not. The GP was able to facilitate, via 3 steps , how to lower the risk of Sepsis again , in my body. A huge , hearty thank you. Rock on Maidenbower Saxonbrook!!!

    I have long term health issues and have always been treated with compassion and respect, my GP is very thorough, understanding and goes the extra mile. Receptionists are kind and helpful.

    I originally presented myself many moons ago with a mental health condition I call 'if everybody is right then so can I' most would call this just being a man, I say that in the loosest terms, as I'm sure the same could be thought about the opposite. But yes, I presented myself as my own doctor so nobody could realistically treat me. But upon my return and realising that medical staff are people too, I could be properly treated as I was less candid with my approach than before and more brutal upon myself as a patient, in other words I saw the help as help rather than a knock on my intelligence . So thats a little bit about me meaning that I'm not here to complain but I am here to say that both the clerical and medical staff were both entirely professional and personable in a sense they made me feel human, whether or not they remembered my approach on the first time I attended the practise. I wish I could remember their names, but I can't, all I remember thinking is that on most parts it seemed like a place where the reception staff weren't coming across as triage, but more as what they should and be compassionate and appropriate information gatherers so that the practise can run in a most efficient manner, and people get seen by the correct professional and don't feel as if they're being diagnosed by clerical staff. I say this, as I know that when you go to a surgery with a solution already, you're less likely to come away with what you need. Great team, keep smiling.

    I visited the surgery to see a Doctor and wore my mask as asked to but in the waiting room was a family of 4, mum, dad and 2 children. The dad was wearing a mask but the mum/2 children were not. The mother and daughter were coughing badly which was concerning for me and probably everyone else in the waiting room who were wearing masks. I'm fully aware that people can't be made to wear masks especially if they have an exemption but it would be good if perhaps they could be put into a separate room. I obviously can't be sure but shortly after I had a bad cough which wasn't covid but it could have been. I have always thought when turning up for a blood test that there should be a separate waiting room as I'm not ill and should not be made to sit in a room with potentially sick people. On a plus note despite me reading many complaints about the surgery on Facebook I have found the new system very good and have always received a phone call and an appointment on the same day.
