Had a text message asking to make appointment to speak to Dr about blood results....told the waiting time is 4-5 weeks. A bit of a joke and waste of time Dr requesting an appointment if you can't get one. At least I didn't wait long for the phone to be answered not like first thing in the morning (when you are asked to call) then wait 40mins to be told no appointments . System needs a overhaul

If you lucky enough your call answered, then you might get an appointment or just told “try again tomorrow… Waiting in the waiting area with a 1 year old for more than half an hour, it’s not what I would call Healthcare. Pointless to book appointments.

Thank you for your feedback, sorry that you were not happy with the wait time when you attended the surgery. Unfortunately on occasion the surgeries do run late due to medical emergencies, or complex consultations. The practice endeavours to run to time, however this is not always achievable. All feedback is discussed within a multidisciplinary environment, and changes or adjustments carried out where possible. Regards Sedlescombe and Westfield Surgeries.

It used to fairly easy to at least get an on the phone niw seems impossible. 2 hours trying on first occasion so gave up, today rang out so gave up again!

Dear Patient Thank you for your comments, we welcome all feedback. I am sorry to hear that you had difficulties in accessing the surgery on this occasion over the telephone. The practice does offer on-line booking which enables the patient to make an appointment anytime without the need to telephone the surgery.
