    Both myself and my wife have had to use their services recently, cannot praise them enough, especially the practice nurses.

    I am not permitted to leave my earlier review because it “ contained a website address “ it didn’t. It just contained details of how wonderful my experience of flu and covid jab was at this surgery. I would love to say more.

    Doctor was unable to see me today as she was busy with other patients but contacted me by phone later in the day. Full and comprehensive of my test results. I've always had excellent care from the practice.

    I have always had a really good experience at Sett Valley Medical Center (I have been registered with them for a long time). Also, I have recently had GP appointments, for a range of symptoms, and I have had a really good experience. The staff I talked to (GP's, Nurses and receptionists) were really helpful, understanding and also effective in delivering healthcare, explaining medical concepts clearly and also making referrals where needed. I really felt like the staff truly wanted to help me, and were kind, easy to talk to and of course knowledgable and professional - which has made such a difference when dealing with worrying health issues. Thank you very much.

    My son has been poorly and was given antibiotics at the out of hours last Friday for a chest infection. We were back at the out of hours on Monday evening when his temperature spiked and he was given a different antibiotic as the first wasn't working. But then on Tuesday afternoon he came out in a rash which I was very worried about. There were no appointments at the surgery and it was getting to the end of the day but I came in and asked if anybody would be able to see him. The receptionist sent an email around and Tina, advanced nurse practitioner, saw him even though she had come to the end of her patients. I was so grateful for this….she explained he had had an allergic reaction and was able to give me a prescription for a different antibiotic and anti allergy medicine. Thank you very much to her for seeing him because had I waited for the out of hours I think it unlikely they would have been able to change his antibiotic again (which he still needed for his chest infection.) The next day we made an appointment to see Tina again because his rash had got worse and he was very itchy so I was very grateful to have received this information the night before. The out of hours is also a wonderful service. My son is normally a healthy boy and luckily hasn't needed the doctors much since he started school but I am so thankful to all of your staff and in particular Tina for helping us this week when we really needed this help. Please pass on our grateful thanks to Tina.
