Why can't the surgery implement a reminder system. I just missed an appt that I waited for 12 wks and had the date given me 4 wjs ago, but am now told I have been told that I'm back on the wait list. People live busy lives and these surgeries are now all merged together in the interest of efficiency. Why not put in a straight forward appt system, my dentist, hairdresser, and many other orgs provide reminders. This would ensure real efficiency, and the gp time saved time and I really needed to get to that appt too. Don't punish us for your inadequate systems! I now have another min 12 wk wait. Its quite upsetting.
