Attended the practice by appointment for a blood test. Nurse was friendly and welcoming and most efficient in extracting my blood. All over in a matter of seconds.

I attended a health review at the beginning of July and my appointment was on time and the practice nurse was excellent. Myself and my husband have belonged to this practice for over 30yrs and have always found the reception staff and doctors very helpful. Having Open Access appointments in the morning works well. The telephone system is excellent and gives an indication of how many calls are in front of you. We are more than happy with the excellent level of service that has been provided over the years, especially when we hear how friends belonging to other surgeries have such difficulty in getting appointments. The surgery is so much busier nowadays and sometimes parking is a problem when attending the Open Access clinic as there are only a few on site parking spaces. As far as the surgery itself is concerned we have no complaints, we have received excellent treatment. Many thanks

Personally love this surgery. Doctors have always been great and supportive when I've visited. A few members of the nursing team are a let down in many respects when you need them the most. No one goes to a GP Surgery for the sake of it and yet while telling them your symptoms they write you off as if nothing is wrong with you. I was suffering from what seemed to be pneumonia with dark brown phlems and stains of blood and had a fever as well, with shortness of breath, my chest was sore from ongoing deep coughs. They claimed it was virus related and wouldn't offer anything, not even a lab test. I visited the general hospital the same day and a kind and empathetic Doctor wrote me an antibiotic medication after taking samples which helped cure the pneumonia. I'm sorry, but why do our GP Surgeries allow such practioneers in the NHS? Clearly, they are not here to help patients. What a shame!

I moved to this surgery last year. I have nothing but praise. Access to medical help is very good. Doctors and nurses are caring and understanding. Admin staff are friendly and helpful. What more could you want from your GP?

I telephoned the Surgery following a hitch with my elderly Mother's prescription. The Receptionist was so helpful and went over and above in her explanation of the re-ordering process. She was patient and understanding throughout the conversation and offered more support if necessary

Always great service from reception, nurses and Dr's. Can't fault this practice. When you hear the horror stories from other people about the practices they are registered with. Keep up the good work, you are all appreciated.

My bipolar medication was unavailable at any pharmacy and the reception staff at my surgery were amazing. They organised a different brand of the same medication to be prescribed and got it signed off by the dr super quick. They really took the pressure off and put my mind at ease at a time when my stress was at its highest. I can not thank them enough. What an amazing team.

I visited the surgery today and wanted to compliment the Receptionist on duty. I sat waiting, I heard her continually attend to rude, arrogant patients and she maintained a calm, professional manner. She was amazing and I just wanted to say "thank you " she is very much appreciated.

I have visited Shrub End surgery after experiencing some rather unpleasant symptoms that were and still are a major health concern. I found that from the receptionist to all the medical staff, and i am talking all the medical staff: nurse practitioner, doctor on duty etc had all been defensive and rude, unhelpful and borderline aggressive when trying to ask questions. I was patronized at this surgery, i was spoken to like a low life human, even when i mentioned it to another doctor about being treated appalling, the listening skills were nil and void and the brief mention of my bad experience with their staff was brushed under the carpet, not acknowledged in the slightest. We are talking about someone's health here, i was trying to find a way of getting medication prescriptions sorted and all i got was dismissiveness and rude, defensive behavior. If this is how people whom are meant to be in charge of my health are treating the people needing help its disgraceful, absolutely disgraceful. I genuinely wished i had never been moved over to this surgery. I do have to mention that through all of this i have not once been rude or swore at any of the people i have spoken to. I was polite and reasonable even though it takes 5 to 7 business days to even answer a phone call.
