This is a lovely practice and we have always considered ourselves lucky to have it as a GP. However recently service has unfortunately gone downhill, probably in line with everywhere. There are the same number of doctors but maybe due to new policies or more patients than they can cope with - it is now very hard to get an appointment within a reasonable timeframe if you are ill - even for children. They used to always see young children the same day when needed or at least next day whatever the condition. Their willingness to do so once saved my child from being seriously ill. Now you can’t be seen for several days. They used to keep some appointments open for those phoning up needing one that wasn’t routine - but no longer seem to? or the receptionist decides if they want to offer them? We were told to send photos of our child's symptoms which the doctor kindly reviewed (which is great service) and emailed to say we must make a face to face appointment - but we were then told by reception that there aren’t any face to face appointments until the following week. There are situations that sit between an ‘emergency’ and ‘wait til next week’ - especially for children. I realise we’d likely wait two weeks or more for appointments in other parts of the country etc.. and the doctors themselves are exceptionally good - but it is a shame to see such a reduction in service. We are left with the options being to either not take our child to see their doctor at all (despite them advising us to), to see if we can find a ‘walk in and wait’ doctors somewhere else in the district (even though it is not out of hours) or call 111?

I just wanted to leave a review about the lovely female receptionist who was so positive and happy - the perfect person to greet you when you’re feeling anxious about your appointment. Very glad they hired her, makes the practice feel like a lovely, caring place to be.

Since moving to the area 2 years ago, we have received exceptional care from both doctors. Recently, my child was unwell and was seen very quickly by the doctor who reassured me and had a wonderful manner with my son.

Absolutely incredible practice. Every time I need them they are there to help, the service is efficient and personalised. I feel so privileged to be served by Sibford surgery. Reception, dispensers and doctors all first class. This is not unusual but example today I called as my son was unwell and I was on the phone to a doctor immediately, no call back just passed over to the doctor. I have received home visits when needed and am always made to feel valued and listened to. I can’t say enough praise about the surgery.

have not been with them long but already so much happier, it is how a visit to the doctors should be, you are treated like a person by doctors who care. Instead of rushing you, they are happy to listen to you.

We are so lucky to have such an amazing GP practice in our village. Both GP's have been brilliant when I have raised any concerns and I have multiple health issues. Couldn't recommend enough. They answer the phone within seconds and I have never been more than number 2 in the queue to speak with the receptionist. I am politely asked if I want a face to face or phone appointment. So grateful Thank you
