  1. Review titled Such friendly helpful staff

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Emma - Posted on 05 July 2024

Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Nurse carrying out my smear was outstanding. Gave such helpful advice on steps to take if concerned about menopause and made the test itself as comfortable as possible. I feel really lucky to be registered at this practice.

  4. Review titled Doctor was great, “e-consult” booking is rubbish

Rated 4 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 27 June 2024

I’ve recently received a text about some blood results, that aren’t terrible but a little concerning. All I want is to arrange a follow up call with the doctor that sent me the results to find out more. Can’t get an appointment or even speak to anyone and I’ve tried the e consult 4 days in a row now. Texting someone to say they have found issues from tests should only be allowed if I can text back… right?! Otherwise I really should have received a phone call.

  5. Review titled Wonderful service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Katy Daghorn - Posted on 14 June 2024

If I'm honest I have struggled to get through on the phones or to get an appointment at this surgery in the past. However today I went in and the service from the reception staff was fantastic. They went above and beyond to deal with my long-winded request, which included referrals from a separate ADHD team and record access request. They even consulted other members of staff to help when needed. They booked in all my blood tests and various appointments that I required and did it all with a friendly smile and a kind, helpful energy. Thank you so much!

  6. Review titled Great doctors thank you

Rated 5 stars out of 5

My visit today was one of the best I have ever had I am very grateful for the NHS in this country and we can normally get an appointment. My doctor I saw today was absolutely wonderful very attentive and made me feel she was interested in my well being! I’m so grateful for her! Some of the male Doctors need to get more patient skills! Hope she never leaves the surgery. I am still buzzing thank you Dr for your professional service.

  7. Review titled Near impossible to get an appointment

Rated 3 stars out of 5

by Jennie Caminada - Posted on 10 May 2024

It remains near impossible to get an appointment. The new triage system is online only which I feel is extremely discriminatory to those who lack digital skills. I am myself a very digital person but cannot make an appointment. Today I tried many times, the link to an E consult form didn’t respond, it only reset the home page. I called the surgery for an explanation and it took 20 mins to get through only to he told it was likely capacity had been reached. I have no idea why the online system would not just say this. As it was it appeared to be malfunctioning. I wasted mine and the receptionist’s valuable time. Also, it was 9:30 in the morning and all appointments had already gone. There is nowhere stating to start the process at 8am If these are teething problems they need to be addressed. Fact remains its almost impossible to get an appointment

  8. Review titled Never recovered post pandemic

Rated 2 stars out of 5

The surgery used to be really good. A nice variety of doctors, friendly staff able to get an appointment. Now the service is awful. It is near impossible to get an appointment. The total triage is impersonal and leaves you at the back of the queue for treatment. I have spent over a month trying to get an appointment. Fit the first few weeks I couldn't register my complaint as the total triage was being shut by 9am done days due to having a high number of requests. This effectively gives you one hour to get your requests in, though if you are working. Once my request has been sent I've heard nothing for weeks. I feel forgotten. It no longer feels as though I have access to care. Referral requests made last year have not been actioned yet we all know how long waiting lists are she the need to get on treatment lists quickly. Since covid I have not been seen face to face. In the telephone appointments I was rushed and was once rudely told that I could only explain one ailment as it other patients were waiting. This was 4 minutes into my call. I'm supposed to have 15 minutes consultation time and as it takes so long to get an appointment I feel that doctors should allow me to take about more than one issue. If blood tests are negative then Dr will not follow up with alternative investigations. It is exhausting having to constantly chase them. I had an acute injury and it took weeks for my Dr to read my MRI report. I had to chase them!! I worry about the future of this practice

  9. Review titled Kindness makes all the difference

Rated 4 stars out of 5

This morning the reception team went out of their way to help me get a sample sent off for my son which was missing a label. Their kindness and flexibility made all the difference when I was feeling stressed and anxious.
