  1. Review titled Terrible

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 18 December 2024

Terrible. It took 2 months to get an appointment, as you can’t just call to book I had to wait till I was on leave from work as it takes all day for a response to the triage email for them to say you can’t get a reception. I am told they are always fully booked yet the 4 times I have been the practice is always dead with no one else in the waiting area. The Nurse is lovely but the Doctors uninterested. It’s as if you’re bothering them. But that’s the NHS for you.

  2. Review titled Good practice

Rated 4 stars out of 5

My visit was the first time for me because I am new to this medical center, but I noticed as a first impression that it was good on the part of the reception staff and on the other hand the doctor, and there was also kindness from them and interest in my request.

. My appointment was for a telephone call with a nurse. The call came at the exact time of the appointment and was very informative and I felt very reassured by our conversation. Great job thank you.

Sent email to request an appointment at 08:00 which was acknowledged and was scheduled one at 16:00. The doctor was very attentive, reassuring and dealt with my issue promptly. This medical centre has almost always been very helpful and caring.

The physio was very friendly and seemed confident in what he was saying and was very reassuring. He wants to follow up to check my progress which feels like he is invested in my care. Thank you

  7. Review titled Why need book appointment when doctor chasing patient

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 03 December 2024

Doctor txt received 3/12/24 9am asking to complete triage form about meds at 8am which has passed. Was expecting a link or something to do form but had to call & ask what to do. To be told to book appointment at 8am to speak to about meds. If a doctor needs to know how patient is doing why don't they just use a appointment slot on that day so they can call instead of patient chasing after an appointment to speak to doctor when actually the doctor is looking to speak to patient? The hospitals and other professionals call the patient but GPs make the patients chase to try & get appointment which could take a couple of days to get one if it's full all the time.

  8. Review titled Review

I had my yearly review on Tuesday 26th November 24 and had blood tests and did a urine sample. On Wednesday 27th I had a phone call from the practice from the receptionist saying I had a slight drop in renal function and I needed to repeat my urine test which I did on Monday 2nd December as I wasn’t feeling well. I started with diarrhoea on Thursday night 28th November. I asked what that meant but she said she was unable to tell me as she’s not medically trained. So I looked it up on the internet which really frightened me as it said that a drop in renal function meant that I had kidney disease. I was really stressed out and didn’t understand what I was supposed to do so on Monday 2nd December ‘24 I filled the online form in for a GP to phone me back to explain what that meant but I got a text with a link saying to book an appointment. When I pressed on the link there were no appointments available so I rang the surgery. The receptionist said there were no appointment left for today but offered me an appointment on Tuesday 3rd December at 9.40. I saw a really pleasant Dr not sure what his name was but I explained everything to him and he said there is nothing wrong with my urine sample test result so I said why was I asked to repeat it then and was put through all that stress for nothing. He didn’t really know why I was asked to repeat my urine sample. Could you look into it please because telling someone something as frightening as this really isn’t good. It stopped me from sleeping and eating.

  10. Review titled So difficult to get an appointment

Rated 4 stars out of 5

by Andrew Goddard - Posted on 04 December 2024

It is really hard work getting an appointment but the service is good after that. However, the wait in the surgery was still 30 minutes, I had to check with the receptionist. On leaving I got a text about my birthday annual check, no idea why that couldn’t have been done during that visit, another phone call.
