I have recently required the services of both the practice GPs and nurses on multiple occasions. Every member of staff has been exemplary. I have felt heard and have been treat with kindness at every visit. The new online booking system has been flawless for me, I never fail to get an urgent appointment for me or my baby when required. Reception staff have also been very helpful when I have needed to speak to someone directly with a query. Thank you all!

I attempted to get an appointment yesterday using Anima. After completing a submission I got a response saying they would like to see me 'in person' 'tomorrow' eg today Friday 14th March. It asked me to choose a time slot and only 8:45am was shown so I selected that. I assumed that I had been allocated 8.45 on 14th March by the practice and I accepted. I turn up today to find that my appointment is actually for the 2nd April. Remember, at first Anima specifically said 'tomorrow' so this appears to be a fault. Leading on from that, I attempted to get an appointment because I'm experiencing unusually severe lung symptoms such as a cough, mucous in the lungs and wheeziness after a heavy cold lasting 4.5weeks, and I felt I needed assessment and advice on any treatment. I'm not even asthmatic. Can I then ask medically, what is the justification for leaving seeing me for another 2.5 weeks? Thanks in advance.

Saw a Dr who was extremely thorough and referred me for x-rays and physio without having to wait for weeks. He also sent me information regarding my symptoms. Came away very happy with my experience at the practice.

Reception staff Great one Partner and one Nurse leaves a lot to be desired. Partner and Nurse I will not see again. Make your own conclusion.

Thanks you for taking the time to post a review of our practice. It's very difficult for us to make improvements or respond to complaints when patients post reviews anonymously. We have a transparent complaints policy which can be found here https://sothall.net/complaints-and-practice-policies/. This allows patients to have their concerns addressed. We also have a regular Patient Forum (Patient Participation group) where patients can discuss more general issues with the Practice manager and one of the GP partners, these are usually on the first Wednesday every 2 Months at 18:30 the next one being 18:30 on Wednesday 6th December, we are always keen to welcome new members to our group. Not always easy to get through on phone ,but once you get through the staff are always friendly and helpful. The treatment I received was very satisfactory, and efficient, although still ongoing. Nevertheless no complaints.

Managed to get through and arrange a telephone call back for the same day. The GP I spoke to was really helpful and understanding of my situation.

The surgery really needs to improve how patients can access & get appointments after trying for several days by phone to make an appointment I eventually emailed I got a reply after a week with a telephone appointment in another two weeks , the doctor I spoke to was very good & arranged to see me in the surgery the same day I was happy with her care of me & I appreciate that my condition whilst painful was not life threatening but feel a delay of nearly a month until I saw somebody is really not acceptable , I feel it is the phone access that lets this surgery down

I was so surprised how quickly I received GP and subsequent mental health appointments; especially after the bad press the NHS receives at this present time.
