    Impossible to get an appointment and the reception staff seem to mock your futile efforts to enter their domain. I have seem the GPs over the years and they are superb. However some of the reception and management team seem to relish being rude and offensive.

    I visited the medical centre last week for a small procedure. Feeling a little apprehensive but I was very reassured before, during and after it had been completed. I was made to feel at ease by the medical staff. Thank you for looking after me !

    Very rude reception staff. I was told I have no choice with the NHS if I want a choice I have to pay private. This same woman has been very short and dismissive with me a few times and doesn’t want to help, thinks she knows everything yet isn’t medically trained and is quite frankly in the wrong job! The whole appointment booking situation is stressful there needs to be more morning staff employed to take calls or make it easier to book online through NHS app or Systems Online app so that people aren’t waiting 40 mins in a que to be told there’s no appointments left and to call again tomorrow. It’s evident the staff aren’t happy in their jobs if they were they would be a lot nicer and customer friendly.

    I used their new system, Accurz, to communication some information to a specific doctor, which he had requested but it was still not actioned by 12th. There was no apology just try to fob me off. How does one look after their own health with this sort of attitude.

    I'm not sure they even have doctors here! You will be on hold for a minimum of half an hour if you can even get through & once you get through you will often be informed that there are no appointments. It is not good enough!

    I need a non urgent appointment, but, as usual, none are available by phone or in person when booking online (as the practice exhorts everyone to do). For example, trying today, 26 August, no GP appointments are available until 6 October, and no dates are available to book after then. This is a recurring and typical problem. In fact I can’t recall ever having been able to book online. As a family we are now often compelled to use private GPs who, fortunately, are proliferating online and in the area, not surprisingly. However we all pay a great deal of tax for this very poor non-GP service in the NHS.

    After the usual long wait on phone at 8am I finally got appointment with nurse at Fleckney bearing in mind I live in Kibworth with two surgeries. I left in good time to get to surgery and as I got to fleckney the road was closed No sign where to go after trying several roads and several dead ends I eventually parked up at the village hall and hurried to the surgery.I have mobility problems and cannot walk far as I am in constant pain. So I arrived in pain and stressed out. Unfortunately this made me 20 minutes late for my appointment. I tried to explain to the receptionist what had happened but she became abrupt and rude and did not give me a chance to explain why I was late. Eventually they fitted me in with the nurse and low and behold I faced her abrupt and rude attitude towards me. I have been with the kibworth surgery for the past 33 year and never experience such rudeness.

    Dear Mrs Facer, Thank you for your feedback, and I am very sorry to here of your negative experience with the practice. Here at the practice we understand the significant delays that road closures can cause, and it is of disappointment to read that our receptionist was not sympathetic to your situation. Whilst I am pleased to read that you could still be seen for your appointment, I am very to also read that you found our nurse to be rude during the appointment. Feedback on issues such as this are the framework of our monthly staff meetings, and it is important for our team to understand what has happened so this can be discussed, and lessons can be learned going forward. I can assure you that our upcoming staff meeting this matter will be discussed further, specifically with our nursing team and patient services manager.
