I saw the practice nurse this morning she was so friendly and warm and gave great compassionate care! She spent time speaking with me before the procedure and really put me at ease. She is a great example of exemplary nursing care! Thank you

When you use "ask my GP" to request an appointment you get one the same morning. The Dr's are all caring and listen to you and your concerns. All the Dr's I have seen are friendly and go out of their way to help you. In my opinion this is the model practice. I attended today, I made the request to see a Dr ar 11 am and was given an appointment at 11.30 am thesame day. The Dr examined me and has prescribed medication and arranged s blood test. The Dr told me to contact the practice again if there were still problems and said they would check the results of the blood test.

I have recently been having a range of symptoms and difficultly with my health. My recent GP has worked hard and exceeded my expectations as I have slowly lost faith in the NHS. He has been extremely thorough and listened to my worries with pure compassion and ensured I received the reassurance I needed and escalated my care appropriately. I extremely appreciate this hard work and dedication to give a high quality of care. The practice is running better since the change over with more accessible appointments and quick response time. Thank you for all the staff for continuing to work extremely hard, your hard work does not go unoticed.

I had my smear test done today and the nurse was the one who performed it. Nurse made me feel so at ease, she’s extremely bubbly, friendly and professional. Nurse reassured me and was very gentle, efficient and safe. I think Nurse is a real credit to this surgery and think she deserves recognition. Thank you. (Will not allow the name, the first name rhymes with granite, the last begins with g) I want this nurse to receive this compliment about her.

I’ve only been with the practice for 4 months, having transferred from another practice. In that time, I’ve unfortunately had several illnesses, some minor and some major, requiring hospital consultations and admissions. Every time, the service I’ve received from doctors, nursing staff, receptionists and admin staff, has been outstanding. I’ve had prompt responses, early appointments, thorough consultations, quick and relevant treatment; and always felt that the service I received, in all areas, was friendly, thorough and personal. The ability to receive a response by email, telephone, video or personal contact has never let me down. This morning, for example, I contacted the surgery, via Ask my GP around 8.45. I received an email acknowledgement within 2 minutes, advising me of the next stage. I received a telephone call at 11.00, advising me what to do next; and I received the appropriate medication by 12.00. Generally, however, nothing can ever be perfect, so I’ve been compiling a list of negatives, to offer some ideas for improvement. Having deliberated for some time and exhausted all possible routes, I can think of only one which, however, I think is critical - ‘If somethings not broken, don’t fix it. Hence, don’t change anything’ Sincere thanks for all your help , care and attention to detail. Brian Marsh
