My wife attended an appointment for blood test yesterday and the IT check in system did not work so she waited over 10 minutes to speak to the receptionist and then was told as she missed her appointment and recorded as not turned up. During the waiting period she was verbally abused by another patient and brought to tears. She now has another appointment in 2 weeks time . Abuse is not just unacceptable to NHS staff it also applies to the public ! This has been recorded as a patient not turning up for their appointment which highlights these statics are incorrect .

Dear Mr Seamons Thank you for leaving your feedback, we would always encourage patients to attend with time to spare where possible in case of any delays. We usually ask clinicians if they are still happy to see patients who are late, unfortunately, this is not always possible and on this occasion, your wife was the last patient of the session and she was unable to be seen. Abuse is unacceptable to anyone and I am sorry that she experienced this. If you would like to discuss any of this further, please get in touch and ask to speak to the Duty Manager. Never pick up phone was on hold for half hour and had to hang up to visit the surgery directly. Not happy with the service

Dear patient Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback, I am sorry for any queue you experienced last week. We have been in the process of changing our online system meaning our forms have not been available and we have been experiencing higher demand on the phones. We hope to improve the waiting times as the online system is now available again, hopefully reducing the number of calls received although we are continuing to experience very high demand. Since having my baby boy I cannot fault the practice. Every time I have needed an appointment or some advice they have seen us/got back to us straight away. Recently my little boy has had a cough/cold on and off for weeks and if I was ever worried the practice got us in the same day for him to be checked over. The nurses and drs have always been extremely thorough, kind and got to the bottom of the issue. Every time I have spoken with the receptionists they have always been helpful and polite to.

Every time I phone this medical practice they never pick up the phone. Today I just had another experience with them that left me feeling unheard. Despite multiple attempts to reach out, my calls went unanswered. I also tried to book an appointment online, but it didn't work.

The nurse practitioner I spoke to today was absolutely amazing, totally understood my issues and rectified immediately, cannot recommend enough. I shall be writing to the practice to state the same. Amazing
