Outlined my issue via the practice website using their form at 12.30pm today. Although not urgent, within three hours had completed a thorough consultation and examination with a doctor, and been to the local hospital for an x-ray, the results of which will be available in three working days. What a fantastic service from Southmead!

The new system of booking an appointment has been really amazing. It works so effective, as I always got response within 1hour and got the urgent appointment at the same day if needed.

Professional, caring GP - my doctor spent time listening, examining, explaining the problem with clear diagnosis. Prescribed medcation & described how to.use it. Gave me confidence & made the visit a very positive experience

I completed a triage form and received a text response with a link to book an appointment. The text arrived within 5 minutes!! Seriously impressed, this is such a good surgery.

I am so grateful for the support received by my GP at Southmead Surgery for her supportive, friendly and professional care during and after my pregnancy. She was very thorough in her approach whilst showing a caring nature. It is evident that she enjoys her job and is an asset to the surgery. Thank you!

A detailed follow up appointment with regards to findings & results from recent tests. After thoroughly explaining the findings,a plan of action was formulated between the doctor & myself to move things forward. Including future appointments to review how the plan is goung

Southmead provides a wonderful service. Over the years I have had a number of consultations, whether with a doctor, nurse or paramedic. My most recent consultation was handled extremely well by both Doctors (the senior one one giving a second opinion). They both listened sympathetically and or referred me to a specialist. We are very lucky to have Southmead Surgery

Many thanks for the professional and sensitive care that was shown to my mother during her stay in the care home. She received regular attention/treatment from your staff, who took time and trouble to ensure she was pain-free. Many thanks too for doing the paperwork that follows death so efficiently and for being available to me for any questions. Much appreciated.

I'm so impressed with all of the Doctors, Nurses and staff at Southmead Surgery. My young family and I have needed their services a lot over the years and they have always been extremely helpful, polite and efficient. I had a call with a Dr today who was very friendly and helpful, she really made me feel at ease. I have a long term condition and have had major surgery and all staff have made my life so much easier with their fantastic support. Thank you.
