I attended a cancelled appointment and was given steroid injection in my left shoulder. The care and attention given by the doctor and nurse in attendance was exemplary, caring and first class. well done Southwell !!

I always seem to be reading about how difficult it is to get a GP appointment, but that has never been the case for us at SMC. In the last few years we have called up for an urgent appointment for myself or my daughter four times. Each time it has been well after the usual 8am due to things getting worse during the day and realising we need to be seen. Every time, we've been called back within an hour or so and seen in person almost straight away, once at nearly 6pm on a Friday! On the most recent occasion earlier this week, my daughter was seen by a nurse practitioner who was amazing. Really kind, caring, professional and lovely with my daughter (and with me as a worried mum!). She particularly loved the mermaid bravery certificate! Thank you to everyone at the practice who works so hard. Yes, the phone lines can be busy, but the triage system clearly works well. And I've seen that you can now submit non-urgent queries online which I think is a great idea. Keep up the brilliant work!

Arrived 8 minutes early. Seen 7 minutes early. Blood test booked there and then for 10 minutes later. Perfect.

Had a 8 am appointment which I arrived in plenty of time , signed in at reception and sat for 30 minutes waiting, checked with reception to be told doctor was in a meeting, finally saw Doctor after 45 minutes waiting, they did apologise but very unprofessional

Rang up at 2.15pm with a non urgent appointment request. Was seen the same afternoon. Treated with respect and courtesy by the Dr. and suitable treatment agreed. The medical centre always try their best often in difficult circumstances. Thank you.

Very impressed by my new GP. It was like having a chat with someone I'd known for years. He discussed my reason for being there in a friendly and informative manner, and I departed feeling that all the various options had been fully explored and explained.

I have been very disappointed with the care that I have received during my pregnancy and post partum. During my pregnancy I saw different midwives , resulting in inconsistencies of information on my babies size. A high co2 reading at one appointment which I was told must be a faulty machine. My babys size and growth was told at one point not a concern and then at another point it was and I was informed that I should of had a growth scan, but fortunately I had elected for a planned ceaserean section. I have spoken to doctors regarding a blood test which I was told by midwife I should book due to having blood loss after birth. I was then told on arrival to appointment that I needed to wait. I contacted the medical centre, months later to enquire for blood test as I had not been contacted.
