  1. Review titled No one in surgery

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Debbie Langston - Posted on 07 February 2023

As I was unable to get through to the doctors for the past two days I have had to do a painful journey and drive down there which has caused more distress to my area of pain. On entering the building, I was told that there was no appointments left, and this was 8:31 am, but nobody was sitting waiting to see any doctors. I’m only after a sicknote I’ve already been given one and I am under a consultant regarding my operation so I don’t see the hardship in giving me an extra sicknote. This is the only second sicknote that I have ever had from the surgery and been with them over 20 years I rang yesterday and was unable to get an appointment and was told to rain today so I rang 803 this morning. Eventually got cut off due to my reception as keep emailing them regarding to be above 13 Akio at that time in the morning is disgusting. Like I said when I got there I was told there was no appointments available for today again, but no one sit in there where I could of sat and waited to see somebody regarding my sicknote, but they wouldn’t allow it, don’t understand very frustrated and in a lot of pain and distress regarding my journey to, and from the doctors

  2. Review titled Difficult to book an appointment

Rated 1 star out of 5

Booking appointments at this GP is a horrible experience. You have to call at 8am to be in with a shot of an appointment. If you call in moment too late you won’t get through and you’ll have to keep calling until you do get through and by that time there are no appointments left. Only a few weeks ago I had to call over 70 times in the space of an hour just to get through and yesterday because I called a little later and was on hold for an hour just to be told there are no more appointments for the day. When I asked for an appointment to be made the day after the receptionist seemed genuinely confused as of booking an appointment for the next day was unheard of. Why in this day and age do you have to call up at exactly 8am just to be able to get an appointment instead of being able to book online. Absolutely awful GP and would not recommend anyone to have to go through this just to get medical care.

  3. Review titled Efficient practice

Rated 4 stars out of 5

by Tina Sweet - Posted on 29 October 2022

I couldn't source a specific prescription at local chemist, eventually, after hours of trudging round Nuneaton, I found a supply source which required an amendment to prescription by doctor. I called the practice at 11am Tuesday and by 12 noon I had received a call and text to confirm that prescription had been amended and electronically forwarded to the other chemist. This saved a journey to the doctor's and it was an immediate response to my request and I felt the need to Thank all staff involved for their assistance, efficiency and rapid response.

  4. Review titled Wonderful staff

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Jackie - Posted on 25 September 2022

I have found the staff at Spring Hill to be caring and helpful. When I recently rang at 8am for an appointment with a doctor, the receptionist was pleasant and professional and I was given a phone appointment that day. I also ended up having a second follow up phone appointment a couple of days later with a different doctor. Both doctors were wonderful. They listened, were personable, showed understanding and empathy and gave realistic advice. They left me feeling that I wasn’t alone in my journey with cancer and their encouragement made a real difference.
