  1. Review titled Getting worse!

Rated 2 stars out of 5

This has been my family doctors for over 50 years. But its ridiculous how even a simple phone call is like pulling teeth. I've been trying to get through now for 3 weeks! I get to no1 in the line and the phone gets hung up. You ring back straight away and your 5th in the line. I was due injections 4 weeks ago! Still can't get a answer then you go on the app never any appointments. The last 2 or 3 times I've been into the surgery there's never anybody in but there's no appointments! How! It's ridiculous and clearly badly run. I actually give up and will just carry on with the pain and no injections. How have gone so wrong at this Gp

  2. Review titled no reply to telephones

Rated 3 stars out of 5

I got a call from the nurse at 9.40am and asked to return the call. I have been trying to call for the last 2 hours and constantly been at number 5 in the queue without the queue falling. My husband also tried to call for me and he just gets cut off. I am also unable to book the appointment on line. The telephone service is very poor. How are we supposed to return calls if our calls are not answered?

  3. Review titled Terrible Service

Appalled, rang at 10.45am on 23/12 as housebound mum who lives a minute away from surgery is showing signs of a UTI which she often has succumbed to in recent weeks. To avoid a hospital visit via ambulance especially at this time, we asked for either antibiotics she has had before or an appointment. Anyone who has an elderley relative knows how this can escalate. Told by the receptionist that we need to either call 111 or the out of hours after 6.30pm as there are no appointments available. How was my mum assessed? By someone who had no medical training whatsoever! We know the signs and as they are now not open till Weds, we have to hope she does not deteriorate. She suffers from a multitude of heart and kidney conditions. No wonder A&E are on their knees, GPs need to not allocate responsibility to assess a patient to someone untrained, something which a few seem to relish. Very upset as a quick assessment now could mean the difference between staying in her own home or attending hospital via ambulance. We would have happily popped round with a sample to test but the untrained individual had a script and stuck to it, no matter the possible consequences.
