The list is endless from someone very seriously ill to simple test not being done . And non communication off cancelled test leading to 1 hour off our lives never to be gained back .

Its a pleasure to go to doctors whether for the nurse ir doctors can always get to see someone and get feedback even in pandemic you could get to speak to and if needed see someone we are very lucky to have such a great surgery

I am a support worker who rang to ask about a repeat prescription on behalf of a patient. The receptionist was very unhelpful, sighed several times, obviously not wanting to help. On a question about chemist, the response was ‘how would I know where chemists are’ then very reluctantly changing chemist to nearest for my client. ( he recently moved to Little Lever). I rang because my client ( who has severe mental health issues) tried and failed to get the receptionist to explain what he needed to do to get his meds. I was disgusted at her attitude.

It is ridiculous trying to get an appointment at this surgery, they ship you to another surgery that was even worse than this one. I had to go to the hospital to see a doctor it’s disgusting

I’ve been at Springview for years and wouldn’t leave this practice. They’re fast, helpful and attentive across the board, including the doctors, nurses and administrative staff/management. Very attentive and helpful. Thankyou team at Springview

Received a message asking me to contact surgery to book appt. with practice nurse for diabetic check. Phoned and advised to use online booking service, which takes you to a number to ring (no access to actually book online) rang and told in queue number 3. Hung on for 10.31 then phone (not mine) cut off. Rang again and was told now number 4 in the queue. Hung on for another 4 minutes. Perhaps the surgery was very busy, but this is unacceptable. Then was cut off again.

I’ve been at this practice since it opened with my family, the last 6 months its been massively declining and getting worse, you can never get through to book appointments wait times up to 1 hour for one appointment, telephone calls are booked in at scheduled times yet doctors call whenever and then you can’t get back through to speak with them if they didn’t call at your appointment time, wait times in the surgery as long my last appointment was 40 mins late. staff are discussing the issues with the practice openly with patients, this has happened now on 2 occasions I’ve been into the surgery in December, one stating it’s ridiculous they have missing equipment to do a health check, once taking about staff calling in sick and the relief doctor threatening to walk out . At one of my appointments due to the nurse calling in sick the cover nurse was unable to complete my full appointment as they couldn’t administer an Injection, no phone call or attempt made to let me know before I attended. This surgery needs seriously looking into as the standards of care have massively slipped.

Very difficult to get an appointment, over 30 minutes waiting on the phone everytime we've telephoned which had been several times this month. Even when told by the Gp that they want to see you again in person the reception staff refuse to book the appointment and you're told to join the herds and telephone at 8am on the day the Dr wants to actually see you which is ridiculous and no guarantee that the appointment is available. Their appointment rules seem to vary depending on who is in charge behind the desk. No offer of extended hours service unless you actually ask about it. Need to go back to normal booking process.
